“fantastic pain doctor”

I have seen 2 pain doctors in Lexington, and was getting no where with my treatments. I saw Dr. Kerschner, and she know her stuff. Her injections go right to the source of your pain. She has helped me tremendously.

“how bio-identical hormones changed my ife”

I saw an absolute positive improvement in the weeks following my first pelleting.
Prior to my hormones i was on several meds for RA, which included a very expensive injections i was taking twice a month.
after my first round of pellets saw a huge improvement.
So great as a matter of fact that I was able to stop all my RA meds and have been doing great,
I dont think people understand the importance of hormones an how they affect every aspect of your body and life.

“very happy with my pain management needs”

Dr Kerschner has always treated me very well and with respect but most importantly she has addressed all my pain management needs. Many Dr's i have gone to never seem to listen or seem to care, but i never got that impression from Dr Kerscher, she has always listened and has showed me she truly cares for her patients. Also some medical issues that needed more drastic care she put me with the proper Dr's. I can honestly say I am very happy with my care at Advance Pain and Spine Institute LLC.

After 6 months of having hormone treatment, I felt better. Some was due to reduction in symptoms like fatigue, weight and aching joints. “My pain is completely gone!”

I have been to many other doctors and no one has been able to help my pain. I had shots in my knees with cortisone and rooster comb and it did not help. “I love my pain injections!”

I went to many other doctors before I found Dr. Kerschner 5 years ago to treat my awful pain. I had to walk with a cane and a walker to do any activity otherwise I had to sit because my pain was so bad. She has been treating me with pain injections and now I am almost pain free and I do anything I want go to yard sales, play with my 3 grand children etc. Thank you to Dr. Kerschner and her amazing staff at APSI for helping me.

“I would be trying for disability if it werent for Dr Kerschner!!!”

Before I started seeing Dr Kerschner, i was bedridden at least half of my waking hours due to my severe back pain. Since starting the injections, i am able to function normally daily! Dr Kerschner is a gifted doctor and I recommend her treatments to anyone who suffers pain.

I might also add that my pain is mostly nerve pain, so pain medication does not help me at all. Dr Kerschner has changed my life WITHOUT oral pain medication!!

Dr. Kerschner is very thorough. I had severe osteoporosis, fatigue, night sweats. All symptoms of hormone loss. After treatment with hormone pellets my energy has improved and am sleeping better. I no longer have night sweats. I have lots of energy. My endocrinologist is impressed that my osteoporosis has improved. If you want to feel better make an appointment for an consult.

I retired and wanted to lose weight. With staff support, I lost 40 pounds, and then went on low dose hormones. I was nervous at first, but Dr. Kerschner answered all my questions and never pushed me. “Absolute life saver!”

To live a life of pain is a world that some may never understand and that would be a very fortunate life to live however some people do not have that option. I was at a point in my life where the pain had overruled my happiness and nothing could convince me that I would ever be happy again until I met her, Doc K. After a surgery that damaged nerves in my neck creating the most severe pain I had ever experienced in my life, she literally saved my life and for that I am forever grateful and cannot even express my gratitude for what she has done for me, my youngings and my grand babies. My life is not perfect and I still live in pain but I am able to continue to live and in 2011 I never thought that was possible. I am so thankful to have Doc K in my life and her ability to control my level of pain.

“No more pain for me”

I came to APSI in Maysville 3 years ago in severe pain unable to do anything. I have a handicapped son and I could not care for him because of my pain. Other doctors have not been able to help me. Dr Kerschner has given me special injections for pain in my back and neck for 3 years now and it allows me to do anything I want especially take care of my son. I recommend Advanced Pain and Spine Institute to anyone in pain. There is no need to suffer.

“Improved my husband's standard of living”

When we moved here 7 years ago, he was being treated for cluster headaches as well as chronic pain in his shoulders and arms. He had received no lasting relief from his pain since his work injury. Dr Kerschner has able to improve his pain through a series of shots. While he is not pain free, he has many more good days than bad. She works him in and stays late to treat him. We are grateful for her compassion and willingness to serve.

“After one round of hormone replacement therapy my life changed!”

Having a hysterectomy at an early age led me into feeling tired, sad, anxious at times and I withdrew to my room. The last couple of years, have been the worst. I saw specialist after specialist. Was treated for depression, had weight gain and really couldn't see things getting any better.
After researching what I could possibly do to instead of just staying in bed the rest of my life I found Dr Kerschner. I am picky with doctors because of chronic issues I was born with so I'm always prepared when I go to someone new. Believe me she has high expectations for her patients to feel better. She is so patient, encouraging and taught me low hormones were effecting my life. And after my second dose of pellets I realize it not only was a problem for me but also my husband and kids. They have all told me about the way I am changing back to who I used to be.

“AMAZING”

I had a hysterectomy in Nov 2018 leaving one ovary, in hopes to not go straight into menopause. However, the one ovary didn't do it's job and I lost interested in caring for myself and sex was completely off the table.
