I recently visited this doctor office for a variety of reasons, some cosmetic and some medical. My entire experience was positive, from the friendly and efficient receptionist to the knowledgeable, thorough and sophisticated Dr. Harriet Comite. “Thorough, professional care in a warm environment.”

I have received care from Dr. Comite for many cosmetic and medical dermatology conditions. In all cases, I've been impressed by the detailed, individualized attention. In some offices you feel rushed through an appointment, not able to ask the doctor for a deeper explanation of a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. With Dr. Comite, I truly believe she wants me to fully understand my options and involves me in making an informed decision for my care.
I'm in my early 30's now - but I know that I'll have Dr. Comite with me and my young family - as I grow older and my cosmetic dermatology needs evolve.

When it comes to my face I don't cut corners. Not only do I want a Dermatologist with years of experience, but also with the knowledge to back up that experience and that is exactly what you get with Dr. Comite. Thanks to her recommendations on facial products I no longer have dull, dry skin. My face has a healthy glow and without going under the knife I no longer have droopy eyelids and frown lines and this is where her experience really shows. With Botox, Comite knows exactly where to insert the needles and how to use them. So I never leave her office looking like a clown, instead I leave her office looking and feeling 15 years younger.

“Top Notch Care For A Difficult Situation”

I had a very rare tumor growth under my thumbnail. Dr. Comite was very concerned and took prompt action to have me cared for by a dermatological specialist, who also promptly removed the tumor. During the healing process, Dr. Comite took a lot of time to ensure that I was on the proper medications to ensure a healthy nail growth. In addition, in unrelated and separate issues, Dr. Comite was innovative and methodical to her approach in caring for an issue related to hyperhydrosis. I don't think I have ever had such attentive care by a physician.

My experience at Dr. Comite's office was very good. I use to commute to Philadelphia because I thought that was the only place to find "an experienced" doctor. So far I've had V-beam and smooth beam lasers. The V-beam treatments (4 in total) took care of the broken capillaries around my nose and check areas. The smooth beam has given the most noticeable results and noticeably smaller pores on my nose and chin.
It's not an overnight change - it's gradual and continuous. People started commenting after the third treatment. 'You look good today' or 'your skin looks so nice' - me! The pimpliest teenager around!

“Off the charts, not enough stars Review Part 1”

I've been a patient of Dr. Comite's for 6 years. Dr. Comite listens to all my concerns, gives me her honest opinion and the best part is she actually hears me. “Surprisingly wonderful care”

From the moment I arrived, I was treating with care and respect. They spent a ton of time with me making sure I understood what they thought would give the desired results, explaining the costs and then the actual work.

Watching Dr. Comite was like watching a sculptor work. Mel is also exceptional and was caring and an extra set of eyes.

The post follow-up care of doing daily laser treatments to minimize bruising is something I've never had offered before.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Comite and never would consider seeing anyone else.

“EMSCULPT gave me more than I anticipated!”

I knew from the brochure testimonials I read that I would see some definition in my abs once I tried EMSCULPT. But to my surprise I not only have definition in my abs that I didn't have before EMSCULPT, I also have a much stronger core! I am an avid runner and my new stronger core muscles allows me to run my long slow distance days with NO LOWER BACK PAIN. My stamina has improved too; I was the first overall female finisher in a hilly 5K as a 54 year old--haven't won an overall since my thirties. EMSCULPT gave me more than I hoped for!

I knew I was ready to make a change and take my skin care to the next level. I wanted to go beyond the spa treatments and basic retinol use I've leveraged in the past. I spent several hours researching options, doctors, and practices. This included reading scholarly articles on skin care as well as scouring various resources to find reliable reviews. I was willing to drive a couple of hours if needed to find the best care. I didn't need to. Dr. Comite was right here in Berks County. “Every Visit Is A wonderful One”

My experience with Advanced Skin Care & Laser Center has always been wonderful. “Emsella, Emsculpt, VBeam Treatment”

I came to Dr.Commite's office with facial redness. After she examined me, she determined that I have Rosacea and could be treated using a new VBeam product. I did several treaments of this, and noticed a tremendous reduction in the redness! I was very pleased!

I then found out about the Emsella chair! Wow! After giving birth to two children, this has been a life changer. This has helped me in my day to day activities better than I would have ever expected. I would recommend this to all of my friends who are suffering from incontinence issues.

I then also did several treatments of Emsculpt for my stomach. I was nervous that this may hurt as it does about 20,000 "crunches" in thirty minutes. It was not painful at all. It is a weird feeling, but no pain. I felt very accomplished after each session- like I did something great! There is a difference in my sides from using this treatment as can be seen by before and after images. When treading water this summer, I felt stronger than ever!

The staff at Dr. Comite's office were very friendly and knowledgeable.
At 63, I found it so hard to trim down my abdominal area. After seeing a billboard advertisement about Advanced Skin Care, I decided to do some research. I liked what I saw and made an appointment. “A very informative and Caring Physician”

I have known Dr Harriet Comite for some years now. A couple of months ago she did a biopsy on a rather small red bump on my nose. It turned out to be Basil Cell. She was very matter of fact about what I needed to do next and she was very confident that having the Mohs Surgery was the best way for me to go. My trust in her was and is 100%. I had the Mohs Surgery and I am now in the healing stage. I can not say enough positive things about Dr Comite, She is professional and personal at the same time. “Going over eight years on a regular basis for best results.”

I regularly have laser treatments, ExCilis, Botox and buy all my products at this office. I started before lines got too deep and brown spots became too large. I have regular treatments now so they stay under control. Dr. Comite is honest and gives recommendations that I appreciate. I space her suggestions out so they are affordable. I go on days when specials are offered and I participate in a rewards program the office offers. I know I save money buying products in the office rather than in a dept store because I never throw any product away and as I age, she changes my products. I truly believe you cannot tell I have Botox, no one has ever asked, they just say, you really look great I see poorly given Botox and fillers on others. Especially overly open eyes and crooked lips. I have never experienced that happening and if it did, I know she would correct any problem. I drive 45 minutes each way, passing spas and derm offices, but no way would I go any where else.

I had perfect skin until I broke out with acne 7 months ago. It was hard to adjust to my new and aggressive skin, and I was desperate to seek help. My first day of treatments at this clinic had me immediately feeling confident for the first time that I can rid of my acne.

“Expertise and integrity”

After having Botox and fillers with other doctors with poor results, I came back to Dr. Comite's practice. I had seen her many years ago (in 2000) for mole removal. Now that I have aged significantly, I wanted a more youthful look and wanted to maximize improvements/results without surgery.

The actual visit was most comprehensive..numerous pictures, consults and discussions prior to treatment. I was asked if I wanted numbing cream which I declined. Dr Comite injected me with little/no pain .

Dr. Comite and her staff were friendly, thorough, hygenic, and most importantly knowlegeable. My treatments were virtually pleasant and painfree. I had great results immediately and was provided with complete instructions on aftercare and how to get the most from my injections. The suggestions for further skin care and rejuvenation were done in a way that allowed me to make my own decisions without being pressured.

All in all my experience with Dr. Comite and her staff was superb!!!!

And, while other procedures and products were recommended, I felt no pressure what so ever to proceed with those items. I highly recommend Dr. Comite for aesthetic and skin care needs.

I visit was to get botox and filler injection and I'm super pleased with the visit. Dr. Comite is such a knowledgeable cosmetic dermatologist. She was very patient explaining the options specific to my skin condition. I had a fillers done and immediately saw amazing results. I will be coming back! After trying several other doctors and procedures I discovered Dr. Comite. She is the most knowledgeable of any that I have seen. Ample time is spent thoroughly reviewing procedures and options to arrive at the best outcome. I got results that I didn't even realize were possible! Don't waste your time or money going somewhere else. You really do get what you pay for and with Dr. Comite you are getting her wealth of experience. I love that I look better but don't have a "done" look.

Brought my daughter to see Dr. Comite after seeing another dermatologist for years and getting nowhere. She had severe painful acne and wouldn't leave the house without caking cover up all over her face, and even then, it was a bumpy mess. So happy with the results she has had. I have been so pleased with the results of this 'state of the art' HIFEM Magnet technology - EMSCULPT and EMSELLA. In addition to noticing that my abdomen/core has become stronger, I feel that the core strengthening has been very effective in decreasing my arthritic lower back pain, reducing the need to take non steroidal anti inflammatory medicine.

As a certified yoga instructor and fitness studio owner, I have spent many years studying and practicing the technique and mechanics of performing yoga postures to strengthen the human skeletal network and human skeletal core. In just two EMSCULPT treatments, I can feel the depth and integrity in which this treatment conditions the human core. The ease and intensity in which I can now practice yoga and perform physical activity is better than I have ever experienced before. Consistent, vigorous exercise alone can not produce the result that this treatment offers. The improvement in everyday activity such as sitting, standing and walking is amazing.
