I originally went to another dr who was wanting to do another procedure on my back that would have more complications in the long term. I referred to Dr Burgher about two weeks before the other surgery was going to happen. After talking to Dr Burgher and going through the minimally invasive procedure he provided, the recovery time was quick and I am back to doing the everyday things i used to do before the herniated disc. My experience in finding a diagnosis has been a long and frustrating one. I have spent the last 9 years trying PT, Sports Therapy, Chiro, spine surgeons, nerve doctors and pain management. The last year or so has brought on a few spinal injections that did not do anything and my pain management center only to shrug their shoulders and tell me they have tried everything. By complete miracle a new pain center called me and asked me to switch over to them. I saw the NP who also shrugged her shoulders and then invited Dr Burgher to see me and thank god he did. Within 10 mins he knew EXACTLY what it was (since I didn't exhibit the typical symptoms for my ailment)and what he needed to do to help. I knew right there and then I was in good hands. He actually listened to me, I no longer felt crazy. He was there every step of the way with appts and my procedure. I can't recommend him enough. He is amazing and has helped me get my life back.
