I went to see Dr. Ahn for a wrist injury. Dr. Ahn was extremely patient and made An effort to understand my injury. He gave me a clear review of what my condition was that I could understand as a non-medical professional. Then he walked me through all of my choices to heal my injury, providing me with pros and cons for each of the proposed solutions. He was concise in answering all of my questions. Once we chose the best blueprint for my recovery, he walked me through next steps and charted out a cohesive treatment plan and gave me all of the information I needed to track my progress and made me aware of what to look for during each stage and what I should do depending on each outcome along the way. The customer service was top notch, and I was seamlessly checked in and out. This is how all medical experiences should be.

First surgery a few years ago required insertion of pins. Break was toward the end of the bone and Dr. Ahn said that due to the location the pin could cause irritation a few years later this happened and a second surgery tonremove the pin was a success and the pain caused by the pin required for the initial healing is gone. Not only did he painlessly fix the trigger finger, he also took X-ray of another swollen finger that had been bothering me and gave detailed prognosis.. it was a very pleasant and time efficient process. I had to have a hand surgery in January and Dr. Ahn did amazing and was incredibly thorough, patient and kind. I visited Dr. Ahn upon a recommendation from an acquaintance and from also seeing my regular hand surgeon at Kerlan Jobe. Seeing Dr. Ahn for my much needed surgery on my thumb was the exact place for me to be! Dr. Ahn was thorough; he was patient & extremely detailed explaining what my X-rays read in layman’s terms, what his goal would be in putting my thumb back together as it was originally before my accident, and what the recovery would look like with OT. Dr. Ahn has excellent communication skills and is an excellent surgeon. My scar is meticulous. It’s hard to even see! I am so happy I saw Dr. Ahn after first going to Kerlan Jobe. My experience at Kerlan Jobe was less than disappointing. In addition, Dr. Ahn’s staff is outstanding, Justin and Martin don’t miss a beat with follow up and details. Dr. Ahn has an exceptional team!

The staff as well as Dr. Ahn were all so nice. From my call to the office to make an appointment to the time Dr. Ahn took to check my sons hand and explain X-rays and the process moving forward, to the gentleman that casted my sons hand and scheduled a follow up appointment. I had a great experience with Dr. Ahn and his entire staff. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Dr. Ahn was fantastic. I had trigger finger in my thumb and hadn’t been able to bend it in 5 months. He knew exactly what was wrong and how to resolve it. He explained everything to me, quickly and efficiently while at the same time being friendly and empathetic. He treats you like a human being and listens to you. I got a cortisone injection and Dr. Ahn showed me the thumb exercises to do. I now have full use of my thumb again. I couldn’t be happier.
