Dr. Oswald was my doctor years ago in another practice in Canton, NC. When he moved, I had to seek out a new ophthalmologist with which I had less-than-satisfactory care during cataract surgery. I am so thankful Dr. Oswald has returned to AEA! I only wish he could have done my surgery but he is now treating my glaucoma with the same excellent care I received from him before. It really matters when one finds a doctor who is knowledgeable, caring, and takes time to listen and explain! Thank you!

Dr. Oswald is the best surgeon! He did my cataract surgery an has given me my life back. He has a very confident calming manner which really helped during the surgery. Everyone at the surgery center was great. I’m staying with Dr. Oswald for my general eye care. He takes he’s time and listens to my questions. So thankful for him.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Oswald. He removed cataracts from both eyes (with lens replacement). My pre-op visits were informative and the surgery experience itself as comfortable and easy as possible. His bedside manner is exceptional, combining professionalism with an extraordinary ability to listen and reassure. I must also praise the wonderful staff at the surgery center in Asheville. Overall, it was a near-miraculous experience. Thank you, Dr. Oswald.

I highly recommend Dr. Masters!! The newest and young doctor that I saw for some cataract and corneal problems. He was new and I had never been to him before. He said I needed surgery, and I had become almost toatally blind in one eye. He told me it would not be like normal cataract surgery because he had to remove the old lens and replace it. He said it would take much more time to heal. At my age (almost 90) . I thought “This is it””. But miraculously, it began to get better !

Working with Asheville Eye Associates and Dr. Masters was a great experience. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous before I had my EVO ICL surgery, especially when it was mentioned that I would be one of the first ones that Asheville Eye has ever done; however, the staff and Dr. Masters were great to work with and quickly alleviated my worries. I went from not being able to function throughout the day if something happened to my glasses or contacts, to being able to wake up in the morning and go about my day without the burden of glasses or contacts. I no longer have to worry about what will happen throughout the day if my glasses were to break or a contact lens was ripped. I would go through with the surgery again in a heartbeat.

I was asked questions to make sure I was healthy and not showing Covid symptons or knowing of exposure to Covid. Everyithing as santized as I went to the eye exam protocol. Dr Krempecki was fantastic offering trials of different options of contacts that would allow my vision to be optimized based on the needs of my profession. Very caring and professional. Also the staff working with him, Kaylin was exeptional in the pre work that made Dr Krempecki's job easier and Mariah made all the things I needed to remember so very simple and prepped all the different trials. A great experience from start to finish.

Last year I had a torn retina out of the blue. I had never had any serious eye problems ever before and was very worried about it. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. He explained everything and answered all of my questions. My surgery was not fun at all, but it went very well. I followed his instructions to a tee. My surgery was a success. Unfortunately, I have been in a situation where I have required multiple eye surgeries and care the last few years, including both retinal and corneal procedures. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr Masters by my retinal specialist, Dr Komanski. Dr Masters replaced a damaged IOL in my right eye, and has performed a DALK cornea transplant in my left required due to an unrelated infection. Excellent attention, explanations, and understanding when I sought second opinion. Highly recommend.

Dr Davis is the best! She has a great personality and sense of humanity. She is very easy to talk with and comes across as a person rather than a "Doctor". She explains things in a very easy to understand way and makes the patient feel very comfortable and confident they are getting superior care.

I can't say enough about the level of care I have received from both Dr. Davis as well as her assistant. For the first time in a long time I felt I my medical team was actually listening to me and responding to my concerns. I am so grateful for not having my questions dismissed out if hand. I left the office with an understanding of my medical situation & possible treatment options and best of all, hope of regaining loss of vision.

I was referred to Asheville Eye Associates from my doctor in Florida. The retina in my right eye detached during my move to North Carolina. My surgeon in Florida referred me to Dr.Komanski and I am so glad she did. He is very confident and capable. He and his staff made me feel at ease. So pleased with the whole experience. Dr.Komanski is a fantastic surgeon.
