Way better than the GI I saw in Cape Coral hospital who sort of just brushed me off. I definitely will be putting my trust in his Adobe and process!

It was amazing. The office and exam room were spotless, chairs properly spaced apart. Even the patient chairs in the Exam room were sterilized. Antoinette, Jean, Dr. Trope, Melissa, & Beth (the order in which I interacted with them) were all wonderful. I had to tell them how impressed I was and how good I felt. Each one was welcoming and kind. Dr. Trope was so calming. He listen and explained things so well. He allayed all my apprehensions. I will recommend this practice to anyone. I appreciate that he is willing to try non-drug treatments as well. Very efficient check in. I was taken back for vitals right at my appointment time. Medical assistant was attentive and courteous and said the doctor would be in to see me in a minute. It was 45 minutes before the doctor came in (I thought I was forgotten). I found the doctor to be very knowledgeable and really listened to me. He had a very good “bedside manner” and I have already recommended him to 3 of my close friends who will make an appointment with him. I am a patient of Dr Keith who is leaving the practice so I am very thankful to have Dr Fernandez now!

I am new to FL, and saw Dr. Trope to become an established patient, After listening to my symptom history and the diagnosis I had previously been given, he immediately saw that it was incorrect. He thought I probably had SIBO, and sent me home with a breath test. My results were overwhelmingly positive for SIBO. He Explained the treatment plan thoroughly and started me on a several-month regimen to help eliminate the bacterial overgrowth. I am now 3 weeks into the protocol and have lost 10 lbs and am really starting to see some results. It’s still a long road, but Dr. Trope is well-versed in the latest research and treatments for this problem. I highly recommend him!

I left another Dr. Looking for an office and Dr. How cares. Well I found it. His staff is wonderful easy to work with. As for him, he is very caring and prompt. I love that I don't have to wait for him. He is on time. He cares and he wants to find out what is wrong unlike other Drs. He just doesn't throw medication at you he really wants to find out why your having issues... I have referred him to several other people so far they love him too...

Dr. Trope is a no-nonsense kind of doctor, and has a pleasant manner in talking with the patient. His staff is efficient and helpful. If you don't need something, he will tell you, rather than giving you something that you don't need, or doing a test or procedure you don't need. His advice is clear, direct, and to the point. I'm glad he's a Specialist, but he would make one heck of a primary care doctor. I've never once heard him say: "That's not my specialty, I don't know." He'll give you an answer if there is one, and he'll tell you if there's not a clear answer. My spouse and I both go to him and are very happy with his service. He was recommended by my Spouse's primary care doctor, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and neighbors. He has a system that will text you, if he can get you in sooner for an appointment or procedure. That takes a little getting used to, but it's a good thing!

I moved to Cape Coral from VA in June 2020. Since 2017, I had been having significant gut issues with terrible bloating and chronic constipation/ diarrhea. I had seen all of the specialists in VA, and had every test imaginable. All they came up with was that I needed to be on a Low FODMAP diet. Nothing worked. When I first saw Dr. Trope I was very impressed by his listening skills and caring manner. Based on my symptoms, he had me tested for SIBO, and I was off the charts! He saw me through a protocol of treatment that worked super well. However, my severe bloating persisted. He ordered a CT which showed that my bowel would twist up over itself causing an obstruction and then, eventually flip back down. Finally, I had a correct diagnosis!!!!! He immediately referred me to a surgeon, and in January 2021 I had a Right Bowel Resection which corrected the problem. My severe bloating is now gone, and I’m finally on the road to recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Trope!

“He is the GI doctor I've been looking for. I hope the treatment works”

I particularly liked the functional medicine aspect to his treatment. He seems to know his specialty well. I went to the lab and refused the Vit D test because Medicare wouldn't cover it. I must look in my records to see if this test was done recently. The technician said he needed more diagnostic codes to qualify. I am working on his other suggestions. I have hope my problem will improve.

Drs. I have had the pleasure of working with since I moved down to Cape Coral in SW Florida. He has helped me immensely with the diagnosis and solution for a liver ailment. Which I am now on the upward progress of The absence of the disease.
He also did a fantastic job on and endoscopy procedure, and I am slated for a colonoscopy in a few months where I will put my full trust in him and the positive outcome of the procedure. So many doctors nowadays don’t seem to have the time or want to listen to their patients, explain to their patients, and confirm their patients have an understanding of what they are speaking to. I know this was only my first experience with Dr. Fernandez, but he understands how to interact with his patients and create an open/welcoming environment for communication. The nurses were wonderful and courteous as well. I’m confident I made the right choice with choosing ADH! Thank you to everyone on duty today for making my experience a good experience during my first visit.

He was very thorough. However had trouble with the staff. After my office visit, Publix called and said my prescription would cost $550. No way! I tried to get back to the office to see if the physician could recommend something more affordable. Had lots of trouble getting through, finally a gentleman answered and said he would give this information to the appropriate woman and she would call me back...did not happen. Called this morning and was given a voice message for Priscilla, stated my problem..still nothing!! What do I have to do to get a prescription to help alleviate my symptoms? Now we are going into the weekend..I guess urs hopeless.

I have trust issues when it comes to healthcare and doctors. I researched Dr Fernandez, and when I saw all the great reviews, I asked my pcp to send the referral to him. I was very pleased to see that all the reviews were accurate. He listens, he explains, he gives options, and he does not push unnecessary treatments/procedures. He is kind, and patient. I did not feel rushed, like at other dr visits. I felt he really cares about his patients, and truly just wants to help. And most importantly, I felt comfortable. I highly recommend him.
Also, everyone in the office was very nice and helpful. I’m not sure if there are other locations, I went to the one in the Cape, which, by the way, was very clean. That’s also something that’s important to me.

Dr Fernandez reviewed my medical record and took the time listening to the medical problems I was experiencing. Came up with an action plan, making sure I was aware of any potential issues. Laid out alternate plans for treatment. Made his recommendations for the course of treatment allowing me to make a well educated decisions.
