I was involved in a motorcycle accident 3 months prior to seeing Dr. Byrd. I had fractured my pelvis in the accident and have been seen by numerous doctors since the accident both in the hospital, and at a skilled nursing facility due to no feeling in my left thigh.
Dr. Byrd was the first Doctor who "dug in" and saw in the previously ordered MRI that was that there was a tear in either the nerve or quad muscle, so she went right to ordering a nerve test to see why there wasn't any feeling in my leg. This was 3 months after the accident! None of the other doctors that I saw bothered to order the test prior to that. So I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Byrd. Maybe now I can get some appropriate treatment for the injury.

I've been with Dr. Shuff trying to coordinate my care with my cervical disc issues, and it's time to have surgery to alleviate my symptoms that go affect both my right and left hands and arms. Dr. Shuff has been understanding that I've had to jockey for certain jobs so that I can still make a living while recovering from a procedure that requires a few months to convalesce. I've been with AOS since I was a teenager, and they're awesome with requests, esp if they are well aware of your personal medical knowledge with your (current) conditions.

I had spent a year in agonizing back pain due to a crush L5 disk. I went to another Ortho for 9 months and he just gave me pain meds. Dr Shuff listened to my problem and recommended disk replacement. He and his team did an incredible job! He recommended an uncommon replacement procedure approaching from the abdominal side. It was AMAZING I woke up and for the first time in 17 months I was back pain free!
That feeling is indescribable. I spent 2 days in the hospital and an AOS doctor visited me every morning to check on me.
My recovery time has been incredible since the incision was in the front I could lay comfortably. And everything healed perfectly.
I would highly recommend Dr Shuff to anyone his medical knowledge and skills set him far apart from other doctors in the HR area!!

From the nice ladies at check-in to my visit with Dr Shuff, it was better than most Dr Offices I’ve been to. Everyone really cares and treats you with respect and kindness. I see three Dr William Byrd and his sister Dr Jennifer Byrd and I get great care from them as well. The OrthoNow clinical is awesome as well. Open M-F 1pm-8pm. So great to have Orthopedic Drs available and it’s usually quicker than Urgent Care and it’s specialists. We’ve used them for sprains and broken bones and always the best care. We’ve been going there for 7 years and I highly recommend them.
