I have every confidence in Dr. Foley. Each time he's here he listens to my concerns. He takes his time doing his examination and then explains everything to me. When doing a procedure he ensures that I'm doing ok throughout. I would never think of going to another doctor for my vascular care. I can't say enough good things about him. And then there's Lindsey. She is the absolute best! She's personable, caring, thorough, sweet - could keep going on. They are a great team.

“Excellent Service by a very skiiled surgeon and staff.”

I am a physician, who developed problems with varicose veins.
Initially, I saw another vein surgeon who advertises heavily in the internet. After a cursory examination, and ultrasound study done by a technician, he recommended an expensive procedure not approved by Insurance companies.

I saw Dr. Foley for a second opinion. He examining me and did the ultrasound examination himself. After discussing option of management, he did the right procedure with excellent results. Recommend highly.

It went great. I think that the only reason I marked "Clear Expectations" as a 3 star is because I think that how much pain was involved (at least for me) wasn't explained clearly enough. It was explained as "discomfort" etc but there was definite pain involved, more than just discomfort. Perhaps Im just a wimp too :-) .. overall great experience. Most importantly, they got me in fast for the pre, actual procedures and post check up.

“Thank you for giving me my legs back!”

Dr. Foley was wonderful. After 4 pregnancies and some genetic predispositions my varicose veins were taking over my legs. I had veins running from my groin to my ankle and they are completely gone. Dr. Foley explained everything clearly and made it clear to me that I should tell him if at any time I was in discomfort. Dr. Foley is confident and a perfectionist when it comes to his procedures and I wouldn't want anything less. His assistant Lindsey was equally fantastic, knowledgeable and calming. “The whole experience was tremendous, from genuinely nice folks.”

On the first visit with Dr. Foley, he was able to chart what needed to be done and explain the varicose vein condition of my legs. This was the first Doctor that did not want to do a surgical procedure (which I did not want) After the first treatment, that leg's swelling and color was greatly improved. The treatment were completed in three visits. I am walking better than I have in a long while. Thank you.
PS: The Whole Office Staff was terrific. I have not had such great customer service as we had from this one person staff (wonder woman)

“Wonderful! Issues for years resolved in a few visits!”

Dr. Foley and Lindsey were professional, courteous, and timely throughout my whole experience. I had a bulging vericose vein that has given me issues for many years. Dr. Foley and Lindsay are the best team and make you feel like you've coming in for years. You feel as if you are the only patient that matters when your appointment is, because you are, they dedicate that time for you. I came to Dr. Foley during my 3rd pregnancy because I developed very painful and unsightly varicose veins. He did an ultrasound of my legs and had confidence that after the baby was born we could address the damage. I had a surface vein in my leg removed and am doing sclerotherapy for spider veins next. My impression so far is that Dr. Foley is a good balance of confident, capable, and conservative. I just liked that I came in with my leg a mess and he confidently told me it was all fixable.

Dr.Foley and Lindsey have made my experience of taking care of my vericose veins an absolute pleasure. Before, during and after the procedures was exceptional. “Dr. Foley helped me exercise a decade of pain from my legs”

I first came to visit Dr. Foley almost 4 years ago to help me with removing painful bulging veins in my legs. For whatever reason, I put it off and put it off and put it off. I came back probably once a year to have him look at my legs. He would sarcastically ask "is this the year?". Well 2019 was finally the year. A few relatively painless procedures on back to back days removed almost 12 years of pain and discomfort. After 24 hours the results are already in effect. No more vein pressure, or discomfort while driving, sitting on the couch, using the rowing machine. I'm as good as new. Thanks to Dr Foley and Lindsey his assistant have been wonderful

It may sound odd that it was enjoyable having varicose veins treated but it was. Dr. Foley did a great job of educating me on the anatomy and also the specifics on the procedure. My Heart specialist sent me in to see Dr. Foley with Austin Vein and Vascular Clinic because my veins were damaged. Dr. Foley was able to repair them in two visits and then a third visit a week later to check and see if they were doing what they were supposed to do.

I had seen Dr. Foley back in 2006-2007 for something different and was delighted to find out he was in the same office space and the same building just off Hwy 360 & Bee Caves Road. A very convenient location for me living out at Lakeway.

Dr. Foley is very thorough and very good at what he does. He is also very personable as is his longtime medical assistant Lindsey. Their offices are very quiet and calming and Dr. Foley and Lindsey work very well together. I would feel comfortable referring any of my friends and family to Austin Vein and Vascular Clinic.

“Made a very nervous client feel safe”

Dr. Foley is a very knowledgeable and experienced doctor. You can tell he knows what he is doing from the moment he steps in the room. He is very warm and friendly. Lindsey, his assistant is wonderful. I called very frequently in the two weeks leading up to my procedures and she willingly answered all my questions and concerns. This clinic is run very well by two amazing people. I felt safe during both of my visits and would recommend this clinic to anyone with vein/vascular problems.

Dr. Foley explained everything very well and talked me through my procedure, making sure I was calm and comfortable.

Lindsey helped immensely with my insurance and kept me company during my procedure - something that I did not ask of her but I greatly appreciated.

“One of the best experiences of my life...”

I had a very big vein in my right leg that bulged and was very noticiable since my 20s. I had been told many many years ago that it would be a very painful procedure to have it removed and the chances of it returning were very positive. I decided to take a chance and visit Dr. Foley on this vein, and oh my gosh! This was a very painless, quick procedure and like magic - the vein is gone. I no longer have any aches or pains from the vein and I'm not embarrased to wear shorts again. Dr. Foley and his assistant, Lindsay, were wonderful!! They explained everything, made be feel comfortable, and before I knew it - it was like this vein that I had hated for years and years was gone. If I ever have anything like this again, I would not give it a second thought about putting this procedure in Dr. Foley's very capable hands.

My experience with Dr. Foley has been wonderful from the beginning. I came to him for a second opinion after another vein doctor (not a vascular surgeon) said that I would need 9 treatments, costing thousands of dollars. Dr. Foley performed an ultrasound and assured me that there was actually only one faulty vein in one leg, which could be treated in 3 visits. Wow! Thank goodness I found him!!

Lindsey and Dr. Foley made me very comfortable during the treatments, and I really enjoyed spending time with them. Dr. Foley is an excellent listener and explained everything thoroughly. I felt thoroughly at-ease, and trusted in his expertise. I will recommend him to anyone who needs vein consultation and treatment. Many thanks for your care!
