“My experience was Excellent!”

My experience at Baltimore Vascular Care with Dr. Suchin and his staff was wonderful. Every one was very knowledgeable about the procedure, and very informative on what I should and should not expect during and after recovery. I was previously miserable, bloated, and depressed, while dealing with multiple large uterine fibroids and the problems associated with them. Today, I am feeling less bloated and ready to live happily without the complications of uterine fibroids. I want to give a special thanks to Dr, Suchin and his staff for helping to be able to live fibroid free.

“My experience was wonderful”

My biggest fear was not knowing. I had lived with the heavy bleeding and cramping for about a year. My gyn Dr. later told me about UFE and Dr. Suchin. I called and made an appt. for a consultation ASAP. This meeting was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. He gave me hope and the chance of having a normal life without having major surgery, being in the hospital, and losing organs. I wish women all over the world could be made aware of this procedure before they decide on major surgery. My procedure went wonderfully, afterwards I had little to no pain and I'm looking forward to my new life without these blood sucking fibroid.

“Amazingly Awesome results, In just 7 days”

I feel so much better, less bloat, constipation, urination and best of all I don't look pregnant. My periods are normally the worst; soaking 3 sanitary napkins in an hour NOW I barely bleed. Although the procedure is painful it is all worth it in the end; prepare your mind for the experience but you will be pleased. I recommend all women with fibroids get this procedure; you will not regret it.

“Life Saving!”

My OBGYN recommended I see Dr. Suchin for very large uterine fibroids. Dr. Suchin met with me and told me I am a candidate for UFE. During the consult, he patiently educated me about UFE. A month later, I had the procedure done, and could not be happier! The entire team was the best I have ever experienced in my life! It brings tears to my eyes as I write this review because Dr. Suchin and the team actually care, and treated me as my own family would treat me, with love and care. So many women are having unnecessary hysterectomies for fibroids! It is ridiculous the amount of women I hear who have been advised to have a hysterectomy for fibroids.
There are options, and the BEST is Dr. Suchin and UFE. Making the decision to have this procedure done was the BEST decision I made. He is the best in the business, and I hope more women consider UFE in lieu of procedures that are more invasive.
I am 2 weeks post-procedure, and I feel amazing! Thank you Dr. Suchin! By the way, the nurses and Patient Care Team are THE BEST! This practice is filled with hope, love, healing, and light! I promise you, you will get your life back. And, those who have suffered from complications with fibroids know exactly what I mean! Get ready to be happy again!

“Spider and varicose vein treatment better than expected”

My dermatologist referred me to BVC after I had requested sclerotherapy for spider veins. She suspected varicose veins and referred me to Dr. Suchin. Dr. Suchin and his team spend considerable time assessing my legs and coming up with a plan that fit my schedule, activity level and best met my criteria for a positive outcome. He and his staff is friendly, timely, efficient and caring. I didn't realize how my legs became tired and swollen quickly after lots of walking or standing, but after my procedure I notice a huge difference in my comfort level. I felt comfortable showing my legs in a swimsuit 6 weeks following my procedure, my spider veins were incredibly minimized. Thanks again.

“Finally! Relief from Pelvic Congestion Syndrome!”

I came to Dr. Suchin with intense pelvic pain, severe gas and bloating, and a known diagnosis of pelvic congestion syndrome. I had previously underwent coil embolization from a doctor in Florida and my symptoms had returned after a year. After imaging studies, I learned that my previous surgery was not done correctly; in fact, it barely scratched the surface of the underlying cause of my pain. Dr. Suchin even recognized an inconsistency in the new radiology report and made note of it. A doctor who is not skilled in radiology would not have caught this. During my surgery, Dr. Suchin and his team were awesome and kept me comfortable (they even played my favorite music). I am so happy to report that since the surgery my gas and bloating have significantly decreased and my pain is virtually non-existent, minus the residual effects from surgery. Dr. Suchin does an excellent job of explaining what is going on with your body and what he is doing to treat the problem. I highly recommend him and his staff for any vein procedures, especially for pelvic congestion syndrome and embolization.

“There is hope when you think there is none”

I came to Dr. Suchin with a referral from a friend who had UFE and praised the procedure. While many have heavy bleeding I was a special case, I had a huge fibroid with several other small ones pressing on my bladder so you know what I was experiencing. Dr. Suchin took me under his wing. He sat down with me and explained everything from the day I would have the procedure to what would be injected to stop blood flow to the fibroids...even had pictures. The nurses are so pleasant and surely they made sure I was taken care of. Dr. Suchin gives a list of all meds you will need before the procedure, even his cell phone number...yes, his cell phone number. The nurse called me everyday to see how I was doing which made all the difference in the world. I struggled some with constipation due to the med but all in all I was good. Its FANTABULOUS that this procedure is available to prevent so many unneeded hysterectomies. This was the first option explained to me by my primary care physician. I'm so glad I did my research and learned about UFE. I felt like Dr. Suchin understood me. Thank You Dr. Suchin,

“Best Decision for MY Uterine Fibroids”

I'm a 44 year old African-American female. I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids several years ago. Over the years the fibroids got larger & I started to have very heavy menstrual cycles with clots the size of the palm of my hand. I also developed very bad cramping. I was told that I needed a hysterectomy & that I would be cut vertically. That seemed very invasive to me & decided not to have the hysterectomy. I then got a second opinion, & decided not to proceed there. I then heard a radio commercial about Uterine Fibroid Embolization. I was told in the past that I wasn't a candidate for this, but decided to see Dr. Craig Suchin for a consultation. Everyone from Dr. Suchin to all of the nursing staff was so kind & professional. All was explained in detail. Although I procrastinated on when I was going to have the procedure, when I was ready, I didn't have to wait long for the actual procedure date. Dr. Suchin told me that my procedure went well. I'm very pleased with my decision in choosing Dr. Suchin in my care. A hysterectomy is NOT the answer for many! I highly recommend Dr. Suchin with Baltimore Vascular Care for Uterine Fibroid Embolization - the procedure is non-invasive & you are only out of work for about 2 weeks. I certainly feel better today than I did prior to the procedure! Fibroids be GONE!

“Phenomenal experience. One of the best doctor patience relationship I experienced.”

My experience with Dr. Sushin and his staff, from the front office to the nursing/medical staff, was fantastic/phenomenal. Prior to me making the decision on having the procedure I called Dr. Sushin office to obtain more details of the UFE procedure and his staff kindly and patiently answered all my questions. They even went out their way to schedule my procedure ASAP based on personnel circumstance.
Dr. Sushin provided me a thorough/detailed presentation of the UFE procedure (visuals and sample particles) and all that was involved from required prescriptions to recovery time and process. Dr.Sushin and his staff were available and very response to my concerns all at given time after the procedure.
Since the UFE procedure I feel less bloated and have more energy all within two weeks of the procedure. I would recommend other family and friends with Fibroids issues to Dr. Sushin.

“Completely Positive Experience - Vascular Surgery”

I scheduled a vascular surgery consultation with Dr. Suchin on recommendation from my dermatologist. From first appointment through surgical procedure and follow-up, my experience with Dr. Suchin and his practice has been 110% positive. He and his staff are patient, attentive, thorough and kind. I was seen referred to Dr. Suchin for a consult for severe uterine bleeding and was recommended the UFE procedure. Dr. Suchin explained the procedure and his staff worked to have me scheduled urgently as I was suffering from a large amount of blood loss.
My experience on the day of my UFE couldn't have been more professional; the administrative and nursing staff were excellent, the pre-and-post operative experience was made as comfortable as possible, and the post-operative follow-up calls were much appreciated. I felt I had enough information and expectations to manage my recovery and the resources at hand should I have problems.
Following this procedure, I was able to return to work after two weeks. Were it not for Dr. Suchin and his staff, I would have lost more work time and would have most likely ended up with a highly invasive surgery and a long recovery time.

“Overall I have a good experience.”

I have to admit, I was apprehensive about UFE (especially after being also diagnosed with Myenomyosis /sp) . I was "head strong" on wanting to get a hysterectomy. I thought why not? A hysterectomy is a "cure all" to woman's gynecologic problems. After a thorough evaluation/ consultation with Dr. Sushin, I was convinced the UFE was the way to go. Dr. Sushin and his staff did an excellent job during the procedure, assisting in overall recovery (which as he indicated would take 1-2 weeks) and a wonderful job explaining and showing exactly in detail what occurred during the Embolization. You could not ask for a more comprehensive procedure. Dr. Sushin is the best in Interventional Radiology, hands down!

It was brought to my attention that I had a growing fibroid a year ago. This fibroid began growing rapidly and taking the quality of my life away. I had heavy and painful cycles as well as frequent bladder issues. He was very informative about my procedure and walked me through my images of the fibroid that was attacking my body. On my following up with Dr. Suchin he educated me even more on what my body will do going forward after the procedure. I feel wonderful. I am so thankful for this procedure and my doctor for giving me an option. It was the best one for me. The quality of my life is being restore.

“A dream come true”

I have been living with this pain for so long, it became a part of my life. I have made life adjustments around this issue. Recently my situation got worse and my fibroids doubled in size. Being a single mom on one income, I could not afford to take the time needed to have a hysterectomy, nor did I want one! I have read and heard so many horror stories about this procedure that I could not possibly do this to my body. There had to be another way! My OBGYN recommended that I go see Dr. Suchin, he would be able to without a doubt take care of my fibroids. After seeing Dr. Suchin, I finally saw light at the end of the tunnel. I scheduled a time to have my procedure done as soon as possible. I was so excited that not only do I not have to get a hysterectomy, the down time is no where near having a hysterectomy. I was back to work once healed, not worrying if I still had a job to go back too. He is very upfront and honest, and does not sugarcoat a thing. There is some discomfort after the procedure, I welcomed it. I know I am on the road to recovery. I rather be on the road to recovery versus dealing with this every day like I have been for the past few years. I just wished I found out about Dr. Suchin a few years ago! Having this issue prior to my procedure, I missed out on a lot with my family and kids. That's time I can't get back. This will no longer have my time moving forward! Thank you Dr. Suchin! “Dr. Suchin successfully completed RF on both of my legs”

Came to Dr. Suchin after going to MD Vein Clinics for leg pain. After their treatment still continued to have leg pain, swelling and inflammation. After ultrasounds, found that the RF procedures done by Vein Clinics did not treat the entire leg top to bottom. Dr. Suchin's team was extremely professional, and after 2 procedures from them, my legs feel great.

“Great Experience!”

I had RFA and closure procedure with Dr. Suchin. My legs feel so much lighter! I am so glad I had the procedure done. This will be the first summer in 4 years that I feel comfortable enough to wear shorts now that my vericose veins are gone. Dr. Suchin was very professional and his staff of nurses and the vascular tech were all wonderful. They definitely helped calm my nerves each time I came in for the procedure. I will most likely be back for sclerotherapy to get rid of the spider veins.

I am extremely happy that I had the procedure done. I had put it off for so long and when I finally had the nerve to do it, I really had to ask myself why did I wait so long. They were extremely personable and made me feel very comfortable. Dr.Suchin showed me step by step how the procedure would be done and just made me feel so at ease. It has been three weeks since my procedure and I feel great. I look forward to my continuing progress because I have suffered so long with fibroids and severe blood loss for years. Scheduling appointments was always easy, he was always available for any reason that may have come up, he invited me back to the office to carefully review my MRI results, and his professional staff is beyond courteous! Dr Suchin is thorough, compassionate, a skilled surgeon, and very nice person. I was very concerned and had a great deal of anxiety about the diagnosis of fibroids that had returned after a myomectomy in 2002. He reassured me, shared research with me, explained the UFE procedure, prepped me emotionally for the procedure, provided me and answered his cell phone for any concerns after the procedure, and helped me feel better!

“Life changing experience!”

Dr. Suchin and his staff are amazing. Dr. Suchin is very thorough with every detail in reference to my condition. He took his time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood all aspects of my condition. My nurse Holly was by far the best nurse that has ever taken care of me. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with vascular disease.

“Legs feel and look twenty years younger”

My legs were so painful that walking was difficult and exercise was impossible. Frankly, I wish I had seen Dr. Suchin years ago, because I could have avoided years worth of pain. Previously, another specialist told me that the only solution insurance would cover was heavy-duty support hose. I'm so glad that my Gynecologist recommended Dr. Suchin for a second opinion. He pinpointed the problem and suggested a surgical solution. I'm a month post-op right now and my legs feel and look twenty years younger. I'm losing weight because I can exercise comfortably again (and walk without pain.) His staff is friendly, supportive and helpful, working with my insurance to pre-authorize covered procedures. It's amazing to be pain-free for the first time in years.

“Excellent Alternative”

Thanks to Dr. Suchin I have experienced tremendous relief from symptoms caused by uterine fibroids. I was referred to Dr. Suchin by my OB/GYN in the fall of 2015 after being advised in 2014 that I likely had fibroids. After several years of increasingly heavy periods which required me to wear two thick pads and a tampon on the first two days of my period (and wear two thick pads and a tampon and change them every 90 minutes to 2 hours) my symptoms worsened to include anemia, fatigue, severe bloating, pain, frequent urination and constipation. In November 2015 the diagnosis of fibroids was confirmed by ultrasound. I quickly made an appointment with Dr. Suchin who was extremely patient in explaining the procedure to me and allaying concerns I had regarding my family medical history. Approximately one month after the consultation I had a uterine fibroid embolization procedure performed by Dr. Suchin. There was definitely pain afterwards as you would expect after any procedure but it was not as intense as I expected and only lasted a few days. Two weeks later I am feeling more like my regular self before fibroids began to consume my life and drain my energy. I know that I am only in the beginning stages of recovery but the future seems so much brighter than it did just a month ago.

Dr. Suchin met with me during our initial consultation and patiently answered all of my questions. “Dr Suchin is the best for UFE”

I recommend UFE for anyone that has uterine fibroids. This procedure helped me in a HUGE way. The procedure is quick and easy. Dr Suchin really took good care of me during and after the surgery. “One of the Best Decisions I've Made”

I had been suffering for years with pain and heavy bleeding during my cycle, often having to take off a few days out of the month from work. A friend suggested I give Dr. Suchin a call as he had done her procedure and she said it was the best decision she had made in her life. When I first came to his office I took notice to how welcoming it was and how polite and friendly the receptionist were. Upon meeting him, Dr. Suchin took the time to not only listen about my medical history, but also about my personal background. He empathized with my situation. He made sure I knew what the procedure entailed and right away felt uterine embolization would be the right choice for me. A day after I had my procedure I received a call for one of the nurses checking on me and I thought how caring he/they were. I am writing this review two weeks after my procedure and am already noticing positive results (ie. feeling less bloated). Complete results such as lighter periods can take a few months. I am so grateful for Dr. Suchin and his wonderful staff. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from the discomfort fibroids.

Battling stage 5 kidney disease is a full time job. I was blessed enough to be referred to Dr. Suchin for a peritoneal catheter procedure. I had a great experience from the time I entered the building. The receptionist welcomed me in like I was a long time patient. I was struggling for a long time with arterial disease ,and wasn't sure anything could be done to correct it. However once i met with Dr. Suchin his level of confidence gave me confidence that this problem could be fixed.
