I am a patient of Dr. Niels Linschoten. I am a resident of New Iberia, LA and I drove an hour and a half to receive medical care at this location. Over the past 5 years I have experienced the care of several orthopedic physicians but NONE to compare to Dr. Niels Linschoten. The care and willingness to take the time and listen to each individual story/medical issue in second to none. I WILL NEVER have to seek orthopedic care from another physician as long as Dr. Linschoten remains in practice. The expertise in his specialize field gave me back my quality of life that had declined as a result of a total hip replacement nearly 4 years prior to this revision. My recovery time amazed me, my family and my friends. Thanks Doc, from the bottom of my heart. Dr. Linschoten is a highly skilled surgeon. He is exceptionally caring. People who have been his patients share their experience with others! That is how I found him, through a friend whose knee he had replaced. She said that Dr. Linschoten was really good and he could help me.
Each visit to see Dr. Linschoten before and after surgery was special. He spent time with my husband and me concerning the type of surgery I would have. We both were impressed with what he said and showed us. The next part was following through.
The transition for his patients from the hospital to their home included very good physical therapy at their home. When the patients were ready to go to a nearby location to complete their physical therapy there was a group of highly skilled therapists who knew what every person required. Dr. Linschoten still continued to see me as needed.
One can tell that this doctor loves what he does and his patients are important to him!

Was referred Dr. Linschoten for evaluation for knee revision. I had a replacement a year before which never felt right and was pretty much bed ridden. He listened to what I said and believed me when the surgeon that did the replacement gave up.
This has truly changed my life and i will forever be grateful.

We brought our father to Dr. Linschoten in hopes that he would be able to help him walk again. Our father is 85 years old, and needed a hip revision. At his advanced age, other orthopedists did not really want to take on this type of surgery. Dr. Linschoten recognized the amount of pain that he was in, and recommended the surgery right away. Our father is five weeks post op, and he is on his way back to recovery. He is walking and doing great!!!
