with my experience, i thought Dr. Phisitkul listened to my concerns and what my pains and problems were and took time to describe what the problem was and how to go about treatment. i was able to get into surgery very quickly and with no complications. post surgery, if i had any problems or concerns i was able to call and get things figured out very quickly. my overall experience was wonderful and highly recommend Dr. Phisitkul to anyone. all the nurses and staff were also exceptional.

“appreciation for great care”

“Great with our young daughter”

Our daughter broke several bones in her foot. It was difficult finding a pediatric Orthopedic in the area so we came to Dr. Phisitkul. He was very friendly and made our daughter feel comfortable. His nurses were wonderful with her and explained everything to us well. He always made sure to ask if we had any questions or needed further explanation. Great experience all around and would definitely recommend to any other parents who have a child with foot/ankle issue. Thanks

“Impressed from the very beginning!”

I am an 87 year old woman and older than he will usually do an ankle replacement on; and he was very successful. He was very attentive and he listened to everything I said. He was very thorough and good at explaining everything that needed to be done. He listened to me when I had questions and answered them in ways that I could understand. I was very comfortable working with him. I had no doubts in anything that he wanted to do; I had so much faith in him. The results are everything I wanted and they are wonderful. I am able to walk again like he said I would be and couldn't be happier. His staff also made me feel very comfortable and are great to work with. They are wonderful and I like every one of them! I am not just patient to these girls, I am more than that!

“Good Outcome”

Dr. Phisitkul and his team were very thorough yet conservative with their examination, diagnosis and treatment of my sprained ankle with bone spurs. I was able to get back to near normal within 3 months of my injury and look forward to continued improvement with ongoing at-home physical therapy. We were able to avoid having surgery that would have prolonged my recovery time.

I highly recommend Dr. Phisitkul and Tri-State Specialists to anyone who has had a foot or ankle injury.

“Doctor said he would eliminate my pain, and he did.”

Dr. Phisitkul performed a minimally invasive procedure on me that has corrected my foot and Achilles tendon problems, eliminated my constant foot pain, and actually eliminated my need for an AFO brace. He accepted my wish to be awake during the surgery and considered my other physical infirmities in prescribing my recovery limitations. My husband commented, after attending my consultation appointment, that Dr. Phisitkul listens remarkably well and carefully considers every one of my questions and concerns. On return visits, Dr. showed consistent compassion and concern for my surgery results and for me, in general.

Nursing staff has done a great job with handling my injury with care when reviewing the injury in person and xrays. Dr. Phisitkul was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I always received a handshake when the Dr. entered and left the room which makes the visit feel more personalized. The Dr. and RN's asked many questions to find out as much detail of the injury as possible to help make the proper diagnosis which made me trust them on their final assessments. I will definitely recommend.

“Dr. Phisikul is a GREAT orthopedic surgeon !”

Dr. Phisitkul operated on my 10 years ago after a bad accident. The first surgeon wanted to just fuse the ankle and be done with it. Dr. Phistikul fixed my ankle and heel and gave me back my mobility. When it was time to consult him now about next steps (because of arthritis) I drove 5 hours to Sioux City to see him. He treated me like an old friend! I wouldn't see or trust anyone else. He is the best there is.

“Gave us the answers and results we haven't received in years”

My 16 y/o son who is a competitive athlete has had pain and an abnormal gait for greater than five years. Dr. Phisitkul not only answered all of our questions, but also identified the problem and educated us on other causes and solutions. He performed a less invasive surgery which resulted in great success! My son is not in pain, and is walking better. I would recommend him to family and friends and fellow athletes!

I Had a traumatic amputation of a middle finger that i was seen in the ER for. Although a Hand surgeon was unavailable. Dr. Phisitkul was. He did a great job of tending to the trauma, and repairing the damage. During the follow up appointments he was personable and approachable. He answered questions clearly, and made sure I understood the outcomes. Even though my injury was outside of his area of specialty, he demonstrated the knowledge needed to follow my healing.
