I had a bad shoulder injury. Always in and out of pain. The doctor did not rush into surgery. But surgery was necessary. Dr. Cahill is excellent. I trust his judgment. The surgery went very well and so did my recovery. My shoulder feels better than ever! I am so glad I did the surgery. I am back to normal.

Dr. Cahill fit me in to his schedule the the day of my injury and scheduled my surgery for shortly thereafter. The procedure went well as did the recovery. “Hip Hip Hooray!”

I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Cahill this past October, Post surgery I had no pain at all, I had my right hip done by a different orthopedist about 7 years ago as I was unfortunately unaware of Dr. Cahill's practice, otherwise then I would have been seen by him. He has one of the best bedside manners that I've experienced. I felt totally at ease with him at all times. If I never need anymore surgeries down the road, there won't be any second guessing where I'll be going. On a scale of 1 to 10, he ranks an 11 in my book!

I first visited Dr. Cahill in the fall of 2017 after a fall at work that left me with knee pain. After completing months of PT and an arthroscopy he performed MACI surgery which has made a big difference in my knee's functionality. He is incredibly professional, caring, and thoughtful and I especially appreciate that he attempted non-invasive treatment before reaching the decision to perform surgery. He always paid attention to my insight and fears and could not have been a more pleasant physician to work with.

“I had a miniscus repair in my right knee. It was a long recovery process. At times it was a very frustrating process but if you keep pushing yourself you will get back to being healthy soon.”

Dr. Cahil knew my knee problem after I had an MRI. He explained that it would take surgery to repair my miniscus. At first I was unsure and scared about this process because I had never had knee surgery before. But, Dr. Cahil assured me that I would be back stronger than ever after physical therapy. Soon enough, I worked very hard to be back in shape and working out again. I feel like I never injured me knee in the first place. Dr. Cahil had very clear instructions on how long the healing process would take, how often you need to work out/go to physical therapy, and he is honest; he would never give me false hope or lie about the time it would take to return. He was very realistic which was very good.

Left knee replaced, and i am very happy with the result. Previously I experienced pain when walking and at times even when standing. That pain is gone! “Best All-Around Experience in a Doctor's Office”

I fell and rolled my ankle one night and my GP was pretty sure it was broken. Dr. Cahill's office got me in the next morning and exceeded every expectation I had as a new patient. They were efficient, yet accommodating; professional, yet friendly; experienced and trusted, yet humble. Good news was that I only had a sprain! “I feel completely healthy now”

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Cahill. I was experiencing knee pain, due to what turned out to be a torn meniscus. Dr. Cahill and staff diagnosed this. Dr. Cahill performed an arthroscopy to remove the tear. My recovery was immediate and complete. Beyond the clinical aspect, I would also add Dr. Cahill has a wonderful manner and I enjoyed interacting with him.

“After having been seen by several doctors, Dr. Cahill was the only surgeon I had total confidence with. His office is also very responsive when you calll.o”

Unlike some other surgeons, I didn't feel pressured to have surgery. He explained what my issues were and after his through description, I felt I was in exceptional hands. Two hip replacements later, Dr. Cahill has changed my life. The surgery was flawless and I am now able to play pickleball, walk daily, exercise, and basically do anything. I first met Dr. Cahill in 2004 after I had an accident and broke both knees , ankle and elbow. Almost 20 years later, (Two knee replacements and broken femur among other surgeries) and he continues to be the best orthopedic doctor in the business! He and his staff always have the patients best interest at heart! They are always available to answer any questions or concerns. Their professionalism is unmatched! Add to this Superior Physical Therapy on the next floor which is made up of the finest therapists in the business and you have an amazing array of healthcare providers all at 87 Summit Avenue in Hackensack, NJ! Don't go anywhere else!

“Truly the very best, in a word, Phenomenal!”

Dr. Cahill is truly the best doctor I have ever had in my life! He has performed countless sugeries for injuries sustained in a work accident. Last July I had severe pain from a torn rotator cuff. The pain was unbearable! Dr. Cahill performed surgery on July 13, 2022 and I was back up and running in under two weeks. I actually drove to Ohio for a wedding in August! I had been attending Superior physical therapy until March 2023. I am now pain free! I haven't felt this good in over 20 years! Dr. Cahill is truly a Godsend!

“ACL Surgery With Dr. Cahill”

I cannot emphasis enough how happy I was with the care and Dr. Cahill and his staff provided for me during my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus repair surgery. They led me through this surgical experience step by step. The office staff were always available to answer questions and support me as needed. Dr. Cahill, an acclaimed surgeon in the heart of Bergen County NJ, has an extremely warm demeanor and made me feel extremely confident and safe under his care. I strongly recommend care under Dr. Cahill for anyone needing orthopedic surgery. His physician's assistant Daniella is also extremely knowledgeable and was essential in getting me well again!

“Really amazing recovery from surgery 2 weeks ago”

This new knee replacement with Mako robotic assistance is totally better than a replacement done 13 years ago on the other knee done at HSS I had much less pain and am able to get around much faster and better. “arthroscopic surgery of left shoulder”

I had a full thickness tear of a tendon in my left shoulder as well as bicep tendinosis. This led to PT and eventually surgery. I was recommended to Dr Cahill. He was very informative and made me feel confident and comfortable going into surgery. I am 9 months post surgery and my left shoulder feels great with full range of motion. I would highly recommend Dr Cahill for any Orthopedic needs.

“I had a great experience with this office!”

I had a left knee arthroscopy with Dr. Cahill. I was having pain in my knee cap and tried physical therapy for some time, however, the pain was not subsiding. We decided on moving forward with the knee arthroscopy and it ended up being the best decision for me. The recovery process was not too long, especially since I am still a full time college student with a part time job. I continued with physical therapy for a while after the surgery to gain my strength back. I no longer have any pain in my knee and am able to go back to doing everything I was before. Things like going to the gym, walking my dog, and working all of my hours at work!

“Outstanding from pre surgery to one year later follow up.”

Dr Cahill and staff are outstanding. I would not go anywhere else. The high level of professionalism and skill is unmatched. I have used other Orthopedic physicians before over the years and this was by far the best experience I have had. My Shoulder needed surgery to .repair both my rotator cuff and a torn labrum. Within a short amount of time I had solid mobility with no pain. One year later, I am almost as good as new, thanks to Dr Cahill and his staff.
