I heard so many good thing's about Dr Brooks, before making my final decision on who I would trust with my Venous Ablation procedure. After my consultation with him, I was very confident that I made the right choice. I was well taken care of by him and his wonderful staff and always felt that the care they gave me was their top priority. I was referred by my cardiologist because of swollen legs. Dr. Brooks properly diagnosed that certain of my leg veins were incompetent and were failing to properly pump blood back to the heart. This was my second vein procedure. The first one was on my left leg 3 weeks ago. I had been pleasantly surprised that the discomfort from the procedure was minimal. The results were immediate, no heavy legs and no leg pains. I was actually looking forward to having the procedure on the right leg. I had it on Tuesday. The vein center staff and doctor are all very friendly. Everyone has been trained very well and they are all knowledgeable about all the different types of procedures that can best treat my bad veins. I had vein surgery a few years ago in another state which was a very rushed experience and the results were okay but not great. When I moved here, I started having pain in my other leg. So I went to Dr. Maldonado for a second opinion. As soon as he examined me he could tell I had more problems than the first doctor had found. I had had my ultrasound and it proved he was right. He spent a lot of time with me and explained every step thoroughly and what to expect with treatment.

Just in a few weeks I already had big changes on my bulging veins. Less then a month they were flat. The injections were pretty much painless. I had an ulcer for about 6 months on the front of my ankle that would just not go away. My primary Dr. recommended that I consult Dr. Brooks. After ten treatments the ulcer was gone and much of the leg pain. I had just attributed that to age. Bad veins GONE!!! Hopefully, I will have the other leg taken care of very soon. Was having lots of night pain and night cramps, I had the vein surgery and it has resolved my pain! It helped a lot!!!

“Amazing job”

Leg cramps have diminished greatly. I feel rested in the morning since having the ablation surgery. The veins look better. I should have done the procedure 10 years ago!! Dr. Brooks and all the staff have been exceptional.

“The Vein Center and Dr Brooks were very good.”

The Vein Center and Dr Brooks were very good, everyone is friendly and helpful! I came today for a new patient visit and my veins were normal, although I am having some leg swelling, operative intervention is not needed. Dr Brooks told me what I needed to do to help my edema!

“Everyone is wonderful here!”

My procedures went well with Dr. Brooks, I feel better knowing my circulation is corrected! I have swelling but that is due to lymphedema and they have referred me to Physical Therapy for that! Everyone is wonderful here!

“Dr. Brooks helped a lot again!”

I have had my veins treated in the past and just recently started having some pains, they did an ultrasound and I had a new bad vein causing the issue. My genetics cause that, I am feeling better already after having it ablated a few weeks ago!

“I am glad I came here!”

My leg swelling and pain has improved so much in just 6 weeks since Dr Brooks did the vein ablation surgery on me. My legs are still discolored but Dr Brooks says that will take a long time to improve. Overall my legs are feeling so much better, I am glad I came here!

“Great experience!”

My experience at the vein center has been great! Everyone in the office really cares for their patients and I could tell that at the first visit. Everyone is professional, friendly, and caring and that means a lot to me. I would encourage all my family and friends to come to see Dr Brooks for swelling and leg pain issues, my swelling has improved so much within the 6 weeks of having my procedures.
