“Awesome CO2 LASER treatment for my facial acne and scarring!”

I have struggled with difficult to manage cystic acne which also causes a lot of scarring of my face over the years which has affected my self-esteem/self-confidence. Dr. Roska was able to perform a CO2 LASER treatment of my face which really helped improve the overall condition of my skin, improved areas of acne scarring, and decreased my acne overall. “Third time is truly a charm!”

Dr. Roska and his team is the 3rd ENT office my son has seen within his 4 years of life. We had a great experience here with Dr. Roska. As a new mom this was nerve wracking to have my daughter possibly need ear tubes and surgery. Dr. Roska made me feel secure and made me feel much calmer about the diagnosis and the thought of my daughter going under. She is now much more lively and enjoying hearing and talking up a storm.

“My confidence is back!”

Dr. Roska is one of the most patient and caring docs i've met. He is all about what is best and what i think is best. Not about his pockets. I talked about cool sculpting to remove a keloid and he helped me research both options so that i have a better understanding of both and the pros and cons and told me to think on it rather than have him do surgery. I am always happy to come to his office. Everyone is super nice and you can tell that they're happy for my process because i get nothing but smiles and asking about my well being and recovery when i arrive. The procedure came out way better than expected. It was my first surgery and i have no regrets. He really did push the envelope on how perfect he would like my ear to be when this is all over. I am more confident now and can wear my hair up!

“Elated with care from beginning to end!”

From beginning to end my daughters received the best of care. All concerns were answered and corrected. Three had tonsils and adnoids removed one also had tubes put in ears with nassal ablasion. My daugthers health has dramatically improved from the care they received. Highly recommend this facility and Doctor.

From start to finish Dr. Roska has been thoroughly informative with why i needed a septoplasty and functional rhinoplasty. He explained every step, how it was going to be preformed and how I should expect to feel post op. My recovery was smooth and my results are amazing. Willow has become another child since surgery. She has become more confident and willing to try new things(Slide, swing, splash pad) without myself/older brothers needing to at her side. Her vocabulary and sentence formation has tripled. “Great Experience start to finish”

Had dealt with issues of difficulty breathing for years. Was extremely nervous about seeing a doctor to see what the options were. Dr. Roska was very reassuring from the first visit, explained clearly what the problem was and what he could do to improve the situation. The surgery went well and advice given after really helped with recovery time. Months after surgery everything has healed great and breathing has greatly improved. Dr. Roska is very thorough and answered all my questions perfectly.

Before seeing Dr. Roska, no other provider took time to really look into my symptoms and pain I was having. Dr.Roska listened to me and helped me set up a plan to figure out what was going on. Encountering a doctor who doesn't just prescribe antibiotics and send you on your way is hard. Not only did I get a diagnosis but was able to fix a problem so many ENTs had brushed off before. I had surgery on my nose and ears and finally feel like myself again. I can breathe, smell, sleep, and HEAR, ... I am so thankful for my experience here - I would recommend Dr.Roska to anyone who is searching for a doctor who will take time and listen, help, and follow up with any concerns.

“Great Experience, would recommend going here for your children and yourself”

My daughter who is 4 years old had her tonsils, adenoids, tubes, and her tongue released. When i called to schedule an appointment, it was easy to get in to be seen. In our first appointment the staff was nice and very patient with my 4 year old. Dr. Roska came in to examine my daughter and let me know what we were looking at and what was recommended. He answered all of my questions and took time explaining each procedure since i was worried in how my 4 year old would do, with so many procedures at once.I explained to the staff as well when scheduling her surgery that our insurance might be changing and that i needed it done possibly by a certain date. The staff again was so amazing to schedule it and help with this request.I was notified by the staff that our insurance had not approved the tongue release.They again listened to my concerns and helped me go back to the PCM and get the necessary paper.They take the extra steps to help you and your needs. I am now going to be seen as well

It was terrific. I have dealt with my issues for 10 years and seen several doctors. Dr. Roska was the first doctor to take me seriously and look further into the issues and he found the problem. He explained the problem, the solutions, and the results of each. The procedure was lengthy and uncomfortable at times, but nothing horrible. The results are fantastic. I can hear, I don't have pain, and no more headaches. Who could ask for more than that. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Roska and his staff to others. Thank you

“Quick and accurate diagnosis.”

Dr. Roska was amazing. We had seen a few different physicians in this journey, where his tonsils and adenoids had already been removed. Once they grew back a doctor tried medication to hold them off and avoid another surgery, that didn't work so we saw Dr. Roska. He quickly diagnosed him and scheduled him for surgery. My son felt comfortable and never felt scared. Follow ups have been quick and thorough. We are very pleased with the care that we have received in the Onslow Ear Nose and Throat office.

Amazing doctor! referred by an Endocrinologist for a lump on my throat, Dr. Roska was attentive and answered all my questions! Even explained in detail a little more about how the lump came to be! “Two surgeries and all is well!”

I had both a rhinoplasty and sinus surgery (including removal of polyps). The experience with Dr. Roska, his staff, and Onslow Memorial Hospital went very well and exceeded my expectations. My air flow has improved significantly (more than 50% better) and my constant sinus issues (nose bleeds, congestion, bad breath) have virtually disappeared.

Dr. Roska actually takes the time to listen to what you have to say; he's not like 99% of other Dr's that are so full of themselves that they don't care to listen to whats happening with YOUR body. Very clear with risks, details of surgery, and post-care. His staff is also extremely friendly and willing to help with whatever you need while in the office. “Best Doctor in Onslow County”

I had forehead surgery by Dr David Roska, who did a wonderful job, leaving such a minimal scar that one can hardly notice. So impressed was I by Dr. Roska and his staff that I move all my ENT records to his office and now consider him my go-to doctor for those needs. The first thing you will notice about Dr Roska is his empathy for his patients, listening carefully to their concerns/issues, and devising a plan to help. The next thing you will notice is his courteous interaction with his staff, always pleasant and respectful. This really got my attention, as I am used to doctors treating their staffs in a somewhat condescending and arrogant manner. I said to myself, if he treats his staff that respectful, he will certainly treat his patients equally as well. I was right. From the moment i first stepped foot in the office, Dr. Roska and his staff have been nothing short of amazing! They are very professional and offer great service. He is very genuine and listens to your problems to find out the best solution. He performed my surgery to remove a lipoma on my forehead. “Highly recommend”

I highly recommend doing an in house procedure opposed to hospital surgery. His staff was great, they explain the procedures to you beforehand. It was as simple as a dentist visit, in and out in about hour. Dr. Roska was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained what to expect and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Using local anesthetics I didnt feel a thing and was able to drive home and go about my day as opposed to the alternative.

“Overall great experience”

From initial visit to post-op, Dr Roska was very thorough, kind and courteous, and had enthusiastic and patient interaction with my young daughter. My husband and I were very frustrated that her surgery was cancelled on her original surgery date after being admitted and given IV due to the doctor learning that she had been having some stomach issues. We felt it best to proceed under the recommendation of her GI doctor, but Dr. Roska was not comfortable doing so. We only wished there had been more thorough investigation into other health concerns prior to surgery date if this was going to cause complications. However, her surgery was rescheduled as quickly as possible. Ultimately, Dr. Roska is an excellent ENT doctor. He was thorough with all explanations and questions. He has great bedside manner with children and was always a pleasure to speak with. My daughter's surgery and follow on care went smoothly, and we are happy with the results.

“I can finally breathe..”

Six years ago I have been dealing with not being able to smell or breathe. I have been to several doctors just stating that it was allergies. I was so desperate I was willing to do allergy shots. I saw Dr. Roska one time and he knew EXACTLY what was wrong with me. I had nasal polyps and along with other stuff. I agreed to have the surgery to have them removed. This surgery was none the less life changing, suffering with enlarged tonsils and adenoids my whole life and no one wanting to the take the time to help me out was frustrating. “I can breathe through my nose after 20 years of waiting”

Doctor Roska found the problem with my nose and helped me so that i could breathe through my nose again after I broke it when I was 5, that was 20 years ago. I was nervous about getting put under but Dr. Roska and the amazing surgicare team put me at ease. I woke up after surgery with no pain and I didn't even have post op pain. The follow up care has been amazing as well. I could not recommend this office, Dr. Roska, or the amazing staff enough.

“BEST DR. I'VE HAD ACROSS 3 CONTINENTS”

Dr. Roska is by far the best Dr. I've ever interacted with. For over 10 years I've been ignored while trying to find some help for my breathing issues. I regularly was told "just do saltwater flushes." When it finally got so back that even a CPAP didn't help, I went to Dr. Roska after moving to his local area. Wow, severe obstructions and a bone spur had to be removed. Once he was in surgery, it was even worse that observed in the office. Dr. Roska has hands blessed with power that would make even some angels jealous. I can't thank him enough for his time, patience, and care at every single angle. Dr. Roska was always had time and patience to answer ever single question and we were never rushed. Every risk and reward was told up-front and realistic expectations were set. If there's ever any issues that require an ENT again, I will personally do a monthly lease somewhere to see Dr. Roska because I will never trust another Surgeon like him. Interactions with Onslow ENT were top notch each and every visit, from pre-surgical to multiple post-op follow-ups. Dr. Roska got me into surgery at my preference, and he ALWAYS took time to listen to any concerns and explain everything. I was definitely a contributor in my care. He was thoughtful about my satisfaction for aesthetics after the surgery. Scarring was minimal and he provided measures to reduce the scarring even more.

“My experience here at Jacksonville, NC's ENT was amazing!!!”

At our first appointment, Dr. Roska helped confirm my concerns with my daughter and made plans to correct what was going on with her. He determined that she needed an Adenoidectomy, tonsilectomy, nasal turbin reduction and blood vessel cauterization to help with her frequent nose bleeds. Although he knew these things needed to be done, he still made me part of the decision process and didn't force any procedure upon us. He definitely made us feel comfortable and confident in what was being done. He did amazing on the procedure and was amazing with my daughter. I'd recommend this office and Dr. Roska a million times over!! Super appreciative of him and his amazing staff.

“The Best of the Best”

I reached out to Dr. Roska in 2017 when I was having a number of different issues to include my allergies, sinuses, and the most concerning for me, difficulty swallowing. Dr. Roska performed a septorhinoplasty in June 2018 which diminished almost all of my sinus issues. Alhough my sinuses were clearing up, I was still having many run-ins with strep & acute tonsillitis. I was hopeful my tonsils and the constant inflammation could be the cause to my difficulty swallowing. During a scope, Dr. Roska recognized that the base of my tongue could possibly be causing what I had been describing to him. Dr. Roska stayed persistent and as hopeful as me in this process. I went back into the OR with him in February 2020 for a tonsillectomy & lingual tonsillectomy. I am a month post-op and I am swallowing at what I would say is back to normal swallowing 85% of the time. Dr. Roska listens, cares, and has been a blessing to my life. I am forever grateful for the way he has put my health back on track!

“Best Medical Care I've Received”

From the first appointment I attended, Dr. Roska and his staff listened to my complaints and came up with action plans to make sure that I would start to feel better. After trying plans to help, we decided a tonsillectomy was the best choice for my ongoing and repetitive symptoms. Dr. Roska is extremely knowledgeable in his practice and explained to me the process of the surgery and how recovery would feel. Sure, recovering from this tonsillectomy was by far the worst pain I had ever dealt with, it's been a few weeks postop and I am feeling a million times better. During recovery, Dr. Roska's staff would call to check on me and when I was having a really hard time dealing with recovery, Cheryl was such a rockstar and helped me make sure that someone called me back when I needed them to. I definitely appreciate the extra care they gave me and the effort and energy they provided for me to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be while I healed. I highly recommend them!

“Outstanding and Life Changing”

I began experiencing chronic sinus infections last winter. After receiving a referral to see Dr. Roska, I found out I had a deviated septum and cyst in my sinuses that was blocking my air passage requiring surgery to remove.
Dr. Roska was very knowledgeable and gave all the information I needed to feel confident in having the surgery needed to correct my sinus issues. He was always open to questions and answered them fully and in terms that I could understand.
After surgery, following all of his instructions, my recovery has been smooth and relatively painless.
My energy level has increased greatly as well as my quality of sleeping and breathing.

My 7 YEAR OLD loves Dr. Roska! First appointment prior to tonsil removal my son was of course nervous! Dr. Roska eased his mind and most importantly made my son and I feel super comfortable. My sons surgery went well as expected and he recovered rapidly under the guidelines Dr. Roska set. From the first appointment, through actual surgery day, and follow up ALL questions and/or concerns were answered. Highly recommended.

“Great Doctor and Listened Well”

I came in with an urgent need to get my tonsils removed at 25. He listened and gave me a month timeframe of when he could operate. That month turned into a date two weeks later. Recovery was rough but he prepared me well and when I called the office because I was having a hard time accepting the rough recovery, they calmed me down and helped me out with some suggestions. Best decision ever. I would recommend him to anyone.

“I would recommend this facility to everyone.”

Dr. Roska and his staff were wonderful during this whole process. I was scared to learn my son needed surgery but the doctor and staff put me at ease. They sat down with me and answered all of my questions and told me how the process would go start to finish. On surgery day everyone was kind and caring and even gave me a hug as we were leaving. I got a call the next day asking how my son was doing and was given Dr Roskas number in case i needed anything. I feel like Dr. Roska and his staff made this process as easy as possible and my son is doing much better! I will be sure to tell anyone who needs an ENT about the amazing care i got here and I want to say thank you to everyone for being so kind and professional.

“Perfect”

I came to Dr. Roska with a great problem in my life of not being able to breathe correctly for very long time. Him and his staff worked with me throughout the whole process from first visit, to dealing with insurance and finally to my surgery date. The care i received there and after was so amazing by him and his staff. I am so happy with how i am able to live now with not breathing problems in the way day or night.

Every visit I had with Dr. Roska has been great. I had no doubts my otoplasty surgery would go well and surely enough, it did. I am very happy with the results and felt that I had a speedy recovery and he answered any questions I had. The staff were very friendly and always ensured I was seen in a timely manner. “Top Notch Professional, Excellent Results, Newest Equipment”

Dr. Roska and his staff at Onslow ENT hit it out of the park with their customer service and quality of care. I could not be more pleased with my results. Over the past 20 years I have tried many permanent hair removal - electrolysis, IPL and laser hair removal - without significant success. After my initial visit with Dr. Roska, and treatment with his Lumenis laser, I saw tremendous results. I have now had 3 treatments and see an 80% reduction in unwanted hairs. I couldn't be more pleased.
