“Helped Me Recover from Bad Car Accident Pain”
My body had already been through a lot. I have scoliosis and I've been in a few car accidents that have jarred my structure. The car accident I got into last August got me to search for special treatment and I found Dr. McClaren at Cascade. I was sandwiched in between two cars--the one that rear-ended me and the one in front. My face hit the steering wheel and the whole left side of my face hurt, including the left side of my neck. At work, I couldn't even sit or stand for that long. I had to get up and move around. At Cascade, they did the traction and that noticeably helped. Within weeks, it took more time for me to feel pain from sitting or standing at work. Dr. McClaren had me do physical therapy and exercises, in addition to his chiropractic adjustments. Gradually, I got completely back to the way I was before the surgery. Dr. McClaren suggested the sit-to-stand for my workstation and that helped immensely. He and the staff at Cascade are all easy to talk to and down-to-earth. They were so understanding about my work schedule and how I sometimes had to change the time. I never felt judged or rushed. I was actually sad when I didn't have to go anymore, because they've come to feel like family.
