“Dr. Knab and the entire staff is excellent!”

Dr. Knab treated my mother for years when she was in her 80s and 90s and we were always pleased with her treatment. When he found out my mother had died one week, he even called her house to offer his condolences. So, naturally when I needed pain management, I asked to be referred to him. I have been well pleased with my treatment by him and the entire staff. I don't know the names of all the wonderful ladies, but I do know Alana who checks out the patients. She is always smiling and very accommodating. Everyone I have encountered at this practice is very kind, patient, and helpful. I would unequivocally recommend Dr. Knab and his staff.

“Cutting edge alternatives to pain medication that work with an honest doctor who truly canaries.”

Dr. Knab has saved me from future surgeries on my ankle, knee, and hip. I was told these surgeries were inevitable, due to overcompensating because my ankle is fused. I’ve been under Dr. Knab’s care for 2 years now, and he has significantly reduced my chronic pain,that averaged a 7-9 daily, and it is now a 0-2. He did this through Stem Cell and PRP injections, Prolotherapy injections, and laser treatments. He is beyond realistic, honest, and has such a strong desire to help his patients. He lays all your options on the table, and he helps you make the most beneficial decision to progress your healing. Once decisions are made, he makes sure to know the source of the pain. He will not poke, prod, or stick you unnecessarily. I have so much gratitude for him and his desire to continually educate himself, so he may provide alternatives to pain management. I know my situation is a continual process and I am beyond grateful that he is keeping me out of the surgery room.

“Finally pain relief after years of suffering”

I’ve suffered from mid-back pain for several years after tearing a lower disc. I have been to no less than 6 different doctors and tried everything from physical therapy, pain meds, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping Etc...you name it I’ve done it Dr Knaub is amazing! On my first visit he laid out all my options in detail, was easy to talk to and really listened. We started with infections (no steroids) and for the first time in years the pain was gone. I started to take 4-5 mile walks with no pain! I couldn’t believe what I was able to do once again and how the pain really held me back from getting out and enjoying life. I can not give Dr Knaub enough praise, He truly has changed my outlook and given me hope again. My only regret is that I did not find him sooner and I wasted so much time with other drs who provided very few options and told me basically I may just have to live with the pain.

I have recurring low back pain that limits my mobility. Dr. Knab has treated my pain with cortisone injections over the past 2.5 years. It's now time for me to bite the bullet and have an MRI to see what is going on. Dr. Knab has explained to me, pre-diagnosis, what could be the problem and the possibility of some cutting edge treatments that may be appropriate so that I won't have to rely on cortisone for pain management. He is caring, knowledgeable, and funny. His staff - likewise. Kelly gently rubbed my back during the last procedure - a small but meaningful act that I truly appreciated! Frank was thorough and helpful with my intake and discharge instructions.

“spineal cord stimulator”

i'm very happy with the way i've been treated here at center for pain mamagement ! ive been with back pain since 2001, have not been back to work , unable to do the things i like to do! been on all kinds of different meds and would help for a while but result was always the same
having to try something else with defferent side affix. then in

2019 dr. arora ask me to try spineal cord stemulator so i did. had the trial for 2 weeks and desided to have it implanted in my back, it was great, i cut my meds in half, was able to keep my house work up. ive loss weight about 40 lb. sleeping better, my a1c went from 10 to 7, so im doing good, still not able to go back to work but my life has been better since the stemulator!

I was skeptical when I was first referred to Dr. Arora at Center for Pain Management. But now, after almost 4 years, I have trust that all treatments I have received were beneficial and have resulted in a better quality of life. I have realized that not all injuries or ailments can be 'cured' by surgery or a bottle of pills. And as we age and the body wears out, not all pain can be 'cured'....but it can be managed for a better quality of life.

“Took me right back at my appointed time”

I had leg pain and difficulty walking any distance for 15 years. MRI disclosed stenosis/arthritis at base of spine. I went to neurosurgeon and pain management doctor at Duke. Received two injections that had no noticeable results. I decided to see a different neurosurgeon in Wilmington and he sent

I’ve had degenerative disk disease since my late 30’s. The pain had progressed to the point Where I was unable to do easy things like walking without pain. when i first saw dr aurora i was suffering from severe spinal stenosis accompanied by debilitating sciatica. dr. aurora did as much as he could for me at that time,but i still needed surgery.i chose a neurosurgeon, alex thomas ,and he did a minimally invasive surgery to release the nerve that went down my right leg. since then,the sciatica has mostly disappereared but i still deal with severe lower back pain.dr aurora has continued to help me live an active lifestyle ever since. i highly recommend him and his staff. thanx,mitch odess

“Amazing!!! Knew right away what I needed to stop or help with the pain”

I have suffered pain in C7 for years!! So bad at times it would wake me up at night and interfering with just daily things. I received an injection and two weeks later another injection. Dr. Knab determined that my specific condition could potentially benefit from a epidural steroid injection, just above, and below the location of my ruptured disk.
The idea behind this approach was to give me quick relief from the debilitating pain, while hopefully allowing my body a chance to slowly, but naturally recover from this injury.
So far, the procedure has been a great success with regard to pain relief, and even more importantly, I am now very hopeful that I can completely avoid a future surgery altogether .

“Dr. Knab gave me my life back!”

In December I hurt myself with a sports injury and spent 2 months trying chiropractors, pain medication and steroids. When I finally got an MRI it showed 2 bulging discs. I thought my life was over with the amount of pain I had. A friend of mine recommended I go see Dr. Knab and I’m glad I did. He never stopped working until he found a treatment that got me back to normal. First he did spinal injections and got me to 50% but that still wasn’t enough to get me back on my feet so he suggested getting a PRP. That treatment was a life saver! After receiving it and 3 weeks of laser treatment I am close to 100%. I am a 38 year old female with 4 kids and before seeing Dr. Knab couldn’t stand long enough to take care of my children. He has an amazing bedside manager and his staff are the sweetest people. Pain management isn’t just for older people to help with pain, for me it was a treatment to get me off pain medicine!

I am wrapping up my first year under the Center for Pain Management’s care. I continue to make quality of life improvements with Dr. John Knab’s treatment plans that are best suited for my condition. Initially, the decision was a very difficult step for me to join a pain management group. On my first visit I was enabled to choose the care I was comfortable with my condition. I was given plenty of time to get familiar with Dr. Knab and his team. I completely happy with the level of care i receive from the staff. Also, I know the clinic is there to support me when I need extra care for an unsuspecting problem. I really have found hope in my future at the Center for Pain Management. The staff has made my condition so much more manageable and quite frankly I could not be happier.

“A doctor who listens, tailors treatment, and cares.”

We tried PRP, an inexpensive alternative to back surgery. The procedure itself was painless; for me, there was significant post-treatment recovery pain and lack of mobility. As Dr. Knab and his office staff predicted, after physical and light therapy, and a few months of healing, my back pain improved dramatically. The best outcome is that I am surfing again. I didn't think that would be possible!

Dr Arora is a brillant, caring physician who consistently and professionally cares for my pain care needs. After badly breaking my ankle, having 2 surgeries on it and constantly needing to wear an uncomfortable brace; I sought his help. He gave me 4 laser treatments and my chronic pain is gone! Life is now completely changed for me.
He has also treated my back pain and arthritic pain with injections, Platelet rich plasma and other therapies, with equally positive results.

“I am pleased and impressed with the way my knee pain was diagnosed and treated.”

I was Pleased to see that virus protection precautions were evident. My preliminary interview was very thorough. Dr. Arora did an ultrasound and discovered a cyst and fluid in my knee. I was scheduled for a procedure to remove the fluid and a cortisone shot. This relieved my pain in a very short time. And at the Post visit two weeks later Dr Arora said that since healing has occurred I should return for another treatment only if needed. I really feel fortunate that my primary physician Dr Thorton referred me to the Pain Management Clinic. I had an excellent experience and am grateful for the professional treatment I received from Dr Arora and the clinic Staff.

I just want to say this about The Pain Management. In 2012 I had pain from my sciatic nerve in the right side of my back going down my right leg. I could not sleep at night. It was bad. I was referred to The Pain Management and had Sunil Arora, MD, he gave two shots (they were 2 weeks apart) That has been 8 years ago and so good so far. So, I just went to Sunil Arora, MD today for a pinched nerve on my other side. I have 100% faith that this will work also. I would recommend this Doctor & The pain Management to anyone.

“PRP”

After receiving prp for my hip, I have had positive results. Sleep is easier, not quite back to full me but I am definitely not at square one with the pain levels. I have had back pain for probably forty years. I had been to several doctors and pain management centers. I can’t say I was helped very much. I have been so happy I found Dr. Arora. I am the the most pain free that I have been for all of these years. How nice it is! I am confident that if the pain comes back, he will be able to help me. My muscles seem straighter and I have more ambition.

“Excellent”

Two years ago, I was in a lot of chronic pain with tennis elbow: to the degree that I couldn’t open a jar of peanut butter or pour a cup of coffee. Dr. Arora recommended PRP. It was an easy and painless procedure and worked perfectly. Within 2-3 months of the treatment (it needs some time to work), I have been and remain pain free. Dr Arora and his staff are fantastic.

“Absolutely fantastic! Very thorough, listens to you, explains&courteousus.”

This is my first experience with this office.They were professional courteous, patient and understanding. On a scale of 1 to 10, my vote is 10! By the way , my appointment was 10:15, was asked to to be there at 10:00 to fill out forms. By 10:15 I was in the room with Dr. Arora. No waiting time a all which I appreciated . Again, thank you.

“a wonderful experince and injections help so much”

“Wonderful experience!!”

PA-C Mojgan Jones and her staff are wonderful!! At their suggestion, I am being treated with Biote hormone replacement pellet therapy, and I can honestly say that this therapy is changing my life in such a positive way. I am sleeping restfully, my focus and mood are much improved, my GI issues have straightened themselves out, I have very little hot flashes or night sweats anymore, and my metabolism is starting to work again. I truly appreciate the entire staff at this facility and how they are helping improving my quality of life. Thank you and highly recommend this facility and their services!!!
