Happy with the results & procedure. "Gum graft" sounds scary but it wasn't that bad. And doing a bit of research, it actually turns out to be a fairly common procedure. Yes, would recommend coming here

Exceptional provider of Dental Health and a bonus is a youthful smile. I have been a patient of Dr. Melnick for almost ten(10) years. When I first came to the office my gums were suffering from severe neglect necessitating six (6) implants including bone grafts, and sinus lifts. Dr. Melnick and a colleague did the extractions and the implants in one surgery. Perhaps not unusual is not to experience pain during surgery because of local anesthesia but totally amazing was too experience virtually no pain once the anesthesia wore off. The alacrity of the healing was awesome. The follow up care demonstrated Dr. Melnick and his teams' continued serious investment in their practice and this patient surely benefited from their investment and professionalism.
Dr. Melnick's staff Kim the woman who organizes the structure of the office; and Dee who is Dr. Melnick's assistant are are an essential part of the overall positive experience in the office. Dee always ensures that any questions or concerns one may have is communicated to Dr. Melnick who then takes the time to clarify any areas of concern.
If you are not serious about dental health then Dr. Melnick is not for you. You must be a earnest partner in your care. Amongst this seriousness is an abundance of warmth, humor and reassurance from all in the office. Dee, Dr. Melnick's assistant could do stand up comedy- Dr. Melnick not so much. What's important to me is that through the efforts of Dr. Melnick my smile is my best feature.

Dr. Melnick and his staff have been terrific in following up with me after having a Lanap procedure done. I had advanced periodontal disease that required immediate care. Dr. Melnick gave me this option in order to save a couple teeth and to make my gums healthy again. The hygenists , Dee and Maya were attentive and accommodating to me . I had a couple of bite adjustments that I requested, and they listened instead of dismissing me like other offices have done in the past. The Lanap Surgery was pricey for me, but well worth it. I highly recommend it if you believe you have periodontal issues.

My experience with Dr. Melnick and his wonderful staff has been overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Melnick is very careful and thoughtful. His assistant Dee is always a lovely person to see and work with, making me feel at ease during any and every treatment. I went to this office in the first place with periodontal problems, and Dr. Melnick and his staff really helped me get on track to treat and reverse my gum disease. I now go for cleanings there every three months for maintenance with Maya, who is brilliant at doing a thorough and yet relatively pain-free cleaning. Again, she is gentle, thorough and takes her time, which seems to be a hallmark of the practice in this office. Dr. Melnick is now doing implants for me. Each time I have had oral surgery in his office, either he calls me himself the next day, or his wonderful assistant Dee calls me to check up on me and see how I am. Dr. Melnick totally saved my teeth. I had gum surgery with him 5 years ago (super deep pockets) and now these four problem teeth are still in my head, not bleeding, no problems anywhere in my mouth. The trick is to have a deep cleaning (with Dr. Melnick's marvelous Maya) every 4 months and you'll have all your teeth.

The hygienists are very delicate, but thorough with my cleaning and always remember to ask how I am doing with my regiment. They've shown me the best way to brush, floss and manage my cleaning. The most helpful time was when I was pregnant, and the whole staff took extra care to help me keep my health in check through proper cleanings throughout the pregnancy. In this instance "small" clearly required equal or greater attention than "large". Expert hands combined with skilled and focussed staff produced great results.
