“Very Unprofessional”
I had an appointment, I called the morning of the appointment to confirm, I showed up for the appointment 10 minutes early, I waited an hour then went to the front desk to ask why I was still sitting, waiting, and watching everyone else go into their appointments and the absolutely horrible women at the front desk told me my appointment was at 11:30, when I told her it was at 10:30 I got such attitude and I was told I would be the next person called, there weren't too many other people left to call. They called my name, I went in and, some poor women told me that I would have to wait another hour and 5 minutes(?), would I like to see another person, really? The first time I was there for an appointment I ended up waiting an hour past my appointment time as well. I did not go to Skin and Cancer Associates out west because of any doctor or in this case Physician's Assistant I went because somebody recommended Soraya Breda but the office is so overwhelmed with patients that when they screw up they don't care because there will be more new patients coming through the door. The woman at the front desk is so incredibly offensive (and I would know that after sitting in the office listening to her for an hour(twice) waiting for appointments. I called and left two messages letting them know that I was upset and the whole thing could have been avoided if the awful person up front had not been overwhelmed and rude. Soraya Breda called me back and said that those things happen and that it was normal, no apology, no lets reschedule and make sure it doesn't happen again, nope, it was all about her day. Soraya Breda did not hold herself or her office responsible for, not only poor communication, but down right rudeness. I do have to say that when I finally got in, the first time I went for an appointment, in which they were an hour late without any communication, I found the Physicians Assistant to be quite nice and seemingly competent. This recent visit was a follow-up. I hope I don't have skin cancer and it's not like they are going to tell me if I do.
