I went to see Dr. Shick for an exam and cleaning after having not seen a dentist in a few years. First X-rays were taken of my teeth, and Dr. Shick went over his findings with me. Then my teeth and gums were cleaned and examined. Since my gums were inflamed and sensitive, Dr. Shick used a numbing agent on my gums so that the pain wasn't too intense. At the end Dr. Shick gave me his overall opinion, which was clear and easy to understand, and gave me a clear plan for how to manage my oral health on my own. Dr. Shick is friendly and explains in a clear manner, and he opted for a watch-and-wait approach for two small cavities over immediately filling them. Overall, I am happy with my experience and recommend Dr. Shick.

Went in for a cleaning and checkup after 7-8 years of skipping out. Teeth were clean and didn't up sell me on treatment. Recommended a night guard for teeth grinding, but considerately wanted to check with the insurance first to check on coverage before going forward.
