I have been seeing Dr Wu for 6.5 years. He is absolutely meticulous in his advice and cleanings. He advises on the details of how to brush, floss and rinse w mouthwash and measures my plaque buildup and gum health from visit to visit. He even advises on what foods and drinks cause more plaque and teeth discoloration. I can't recommend him enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wu's for the last 7 years - he's always taken very good care of me, and while I have never required any major procedures, anything above and beyond just a regular checkup has always been thoroughly explained to me. For any deep cleanings, he has always ensured that I remained comfortable throughout the procedure. All in all, he will remain my primary care dentist while I am still stationed in the lower NYC area (I'm active duty, and was referred out of the military dental system due to congestion).

I have seen Dr. Wu twice so far and I am so very impressed with his patience and outstanding bedside manner. I was also very happy with the fact that he did not rush to invasive procedures. Often times you find dentists who want to rush to a root canal- that is not the case with Dr. Wu. He will work with what your comfortable with and provide the best standard of care to his patients. I'm so happy I found this dentist! He's the best!

Dr Darryl Wu was able to tell me the condition my teeth and gums were in right away. Asked what I came in for, did a quick and thorough wash, and noticed that I had a couple of cavities and that I had two wisdom tooth growing out. Prescribed my antibiotics and mouth wash, scheduled me to come in to do filled right away and referred me to a specialist for my two wisdom tooth.
Had a great experience overall, everyone was every efficient and knows exactly what they were doing.

“Thorough and Informative”

Dr. Wu was excellent, primarily for two reasons. First, he gave me an excellent understanding of my various dental issues. Best part was that he laid them out on a priority basis. Also, he performed the work that was needed today thoroughly - with minimal pain. Having a very pleasant "bedside manner" was also a plus. I should also add that he addresses the insurance maze as well, explaining what's typically covered, and what requires a "convincing" process with the insurance companies.
I'm glad I discovered him today.

Dr. Wu was attentive, patient, and answered all of my questions prior to my fillings. I have always been afraid of going to the dentist and he made it more comfortable for me.
