“unsatisfactory”
I went in for an annual physical as a first time patient at 1:30 in the afternoon. Blood work was ordered. I was not asked if I was fasting. I was in a new setting and I didn't think to say I'll wait until I'm fasting. The report I received indicated "fasting reference interval". The results were alarming compared to my usually test results. I'm very conscious about what I eat. When I called the office about the problem, the person I talked to insisted they always ask if they patient is fasting. She seem to infer that I had not been truthful with the technician. I asked her to refer the matter to the doctor. It's been three days and I haven't heard from anyone.
