The appointment went far beyond my expectations. Totally professional and honest. “What a great place. A potential game changer”

As I mentioned to Dr. Jacobowitz, in the course of all of my sleep evals throughout the years (starting in 1997) NO doctor did the type of thorough exam as he did. A few simply took down my info then scheduled a sleep study. I felt like perhaps Dr. Jabobowitz is the FIRST sleep doc that actually knows what he’s doing. And I really hate to say that, because it’s been more than 20 years (ouch!) since I started this journey. I feel blessed and extremely fortunate to have found this office, and optimistic for the future.

“Thorough Exam of sleep apnea I have ever had”

Dr. J was interested in my entire being, not just the reason I had made the appointment for. I am use to doctors treating the symptoms and not the person. His examination was more thorough than the doctor that diagnosed sleep apnea. He was very gentle with the probe up my nose. This was my first visit and I have already recommended him to someone.

As always, he does a thorough examination and came up with a treatment plan that hopefully will improve my sleep apnea and snoring. He already had performed surgery on me that improved my severe apnea immensely. Dr Lopez found the cancer growing in my throat. He knew what it was IMMEDIATELY. “One of thee best experiences with any doctor in 30 years.”

The doctor and the nurse practitioner (Krystal) were, in an understatement, phenomenal! They were so throughout in explaining every detail in a clear and calm language. I felt genuinely listened to and comforted. An allergy test in undoubtedly an uncomfortable experience but they somehow put me at a "spa-like" ease. I felt like I was with a friend but also someone so competent and in control. They are obviously intelligent in their field but exceed expectations in their communication and bedside manner. I wish I could have them for all my medical needs. I feel completely confident with my health in their hands and would highly recommend them to anyone in the future.

Trying to start treatment with a new medical specialist is a terrifyingly vulnerable proposition to be in, but Dr. Kopyltsova and her colleagues are patient, empathetic, and genuinely interested in, just like, giving you relief from your medical problems.

At every step, I've been taken seriously and talked to as a human. I feel as though avenues of inquiry are being taken and progress is being made with my case. The staff even takes the time to coach you on how to navigate your insurance--and I mean *your* insurance, like "Oh [insurer] usually covers this but not this, and you should ask about this specifically because they only cover it sometimes."

“Mostly a good experience but rushed at the end.”

Dr K has good people skills and inspires confidence. However, the appointment was cut at the end by a staff member who poked her head in and said Dr K was needed elsewhere before I got a clear answer to all my questions. It didn't appear to be a life or death emergency and I was left with the feeling that appointments are timed and interrupted if they begin to go over. Dr's offices are not assembly lines and feedback from patients should be obtained before the appointment is concluded. I will return for care because I trust Dr K and speak up if it happens again.

“The best experience I have ever had with any doctor, hands down.”

Everyone in her office was incredibly welcoming. Dr. K herself was very kind and listened to me explain my situation (a persistent set of hives for which I had seen other doctors but was never diagnosed), while then quickly and efficiently figuring out the problem. I have been going to get allergy shots at this location for about a year now. The front staff is extremely helpful and will work with you to get you signed in, and take care of scheduling and payments. And there is hardly any wait time. They do their BEST to accommodate your schedule and needs. Then there are the nurses who give the shots. Very gentle and patient with even the most grouchy clients (especially me!). They have even added more availability for shots (as if the staff and doctors here don’t work hard enough).

Finally, Dr. K. is a freakin rockstar!! She is probably the most patient and caring doctor that I have ever had in my 40 years as a grizzled New Yorker. She took the time to listen to me, ask and answer questions, and come up with a treatment plan WITH you, not FOR you. In my opinion, she’s a trendsetter and more doctors should aspire to be this way.

Definitely have been recommending this practice to others and will continue to do so.

I would highly recommend the Otalaryngologist Dr Kansal.
He was courteous and professional doing an emergency procedure the same day. He quickly and gently handle everything with patience and ease, doing an outstanding job. I would highly recommend him.
