“The Best Therapist I've Had”
I started seeing Dr. Rosenberg (she goes by Ellen) when I was a teenager, and continued to see her through to my mid-20's. From the beginning, she made me feel safe and protected. I knew I could talk to her about the craziest thought, and she wouldn't judge me. She saw me grow and change and develop over time, and she honestly felt more like a best friend than a therapist most of the time. When I was unemployed, she stopped taking a co-pay since I could no longer afford it, but continued to see me for weekly appointments since I needed help. Once I was able to find a job again, she kept my co-pays low since my insurance was unfortunately not great when it came to mental health services.
