I needed to find a doctor to treat my daughter’s ADHD. I met with many doctors and clinics. Many were eager to place my daughter on medication without even speaking with her. How can a good doctor diagnose a patient he/she hasn’t met? One doctor after having spoken with my daughter for 5 minutes wanted to prescribe depression medication even when my daughter assured him she was not depressed. I firmly believe that a good doctors starts a conversation by listening and getting to know his patients. I found Dr Flaningham reading patient reviews and ratings. I can’t express how elated I am to have found Dr Flaningham! From day one he was attentive to my daughter’s concerns. He is asked questions. He listened to I and her dad’s concerns over various medications. My daughter today is doing well in school and her grades too. Dr. Langingham immediately placed me at ease. I had an extensive history to provide to understand the current symptoms and he took the needed time to understand my case. It’s never easy reaching out for help being concerned about having your most sensitive medical information down on paper. But I was put at ease as I was thankful that while I am in this acutely state of distress that Dr langingham clearly cared about my well-being .

Dr F is great at what he does, always helpful with referrals, up to date on advances in medication and treatments. He is available when needed and responsive. It is difficult to find mental health professionals that don’t have a revolving door. He cares and listens to patient input to help make an informed choice about treatment plans. A+!
