It's all in the headline. As far as I can tell this place is competent and efficient. I left my last dentist because he kept me in the chair forever trying to chum up with me, which is awkward considering that there's something in my mouth the entire time. It also comes across as condescending and insincere. Here, the doc does his business and lets me get on with my day.

The staff at Jayhawk Dental are truly spectacular. I came in for a cleaning and checkup after almost 10 years with no insurance and no cleanings. They treated me with respect and were so helpful and gentle even though I was extremely nervous and uncomfortable. I have been coming ever since. Dr. J, is so gentle and tries to explain everything but sometimes mumbles! Kristina does my regular cleanings and also helped me quit smoking.
