Our experience with Dr. Chen has been outstanding! She and Erika, her front desk manager, are always so friendly and personable when we come. Dr. Chen is very gentle with my children and, while they don't love braces, they like Dr. Chen. Her predicted timeline has been spot on with my son and so far with my daughter as well. Whenever my child has had an issue with their device, the office always fits us in right away. I am so glad I chose Dr. Chen.

My three children have all seen Dr. Chen. She is thorough, compassionate, clear in her approach to treatment. I've been a patient of Dr. Chen twice - once for metal braces and again (more recently) for Invisalign. I so appreciate her attention to detail, her responsiveness to my needs/concerns, and all the time she personally spent working on me. Front staff Erica was always kind and available to answer any questions I had about finances. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking orthodontic work!

We've received positive compliments by our dentists and oral surgeons, for example when my children had their wisdom teeth out. “Would definitely recommend!”

I originally wanted braces because I am missing my front tooth and needed to make room for an implant. I'm so happy with how my smile turned out. Dr. Chen made sure I was never toothless and placed a fake tooth in the brackets and no one knew that I was missing a tooth there. She was patient and always took the time to make sure it was right, and not just good enough. I definitely love my smile for the first time in years! :)

Dr Chen and her staff are extremely friendly and always helpful and accommodating. I initially chose Invisalign to correct the issues I was having, but when it didn't quite fix what I needed Dr Chen recommended braces near the end of treatment to ensure my smile was perfect. My only regret is not asking more questions of what to expect when the process was complete or more options on less tooth extractions. Wish I would have done this when I was younger too! Dr. Chen has been the perfect orthodontist for my introverted daughter. She has taken exceptional and gentle care of my daughter, really listening to her needs and desired outcomes. We have had complete trust in the decisions she's made about the course of action to take to get my daughter's smile looking healthy and to a result my daughter is comfortable with. Dr. Chen has responded quickly when we've had minor emergencies like broken brackets or lost retainers so the course of treatment has never been interrupted. Can't recommend Dr. Chen enough for a thoughtful, caring, and attentive orthodontic experience.

i had a great experience with Dr. Chen. I tried Invisalign about 10 years ago with a different orthodontist, which didn't correct my bite problems. I learned from Dr. Chen that Invisalign was a bad choice for my problems. She detailed out all the things that she could fix with braces. My braces came off on the early end of the estimated time of 12 to 18 months. My teeth look great. She did a great job on the permanent retainer behind my bottom back teeth. The previous orthodontist had put the prior retainer in with big gobs of glue. The one Dr. Chen put in is very discrete. She is detailed oriented. I am an older adult and she made me feel comfortable with getting braces. She also offers a monthly payment plan, which makes getting orthodontic treatment easier.

“Great orthodontic care!”

We were referred to Dr. Chen after visiting a few of the bigger orthodontic practices. So glad we shopped around. Dr. Chen is warm, professional and approachable, spent time evaluating both of our kids and her recommendations and care were the real deal and within the time she said it would take. Erica, her office manager is organized, very professional and she too is very knowledgeable Those huge offices and army of staff - you pay for it. I would recommend Dr. Chen to everyone!

“Friendly and Flexible”

We actually looked forward to my son's orthodontist appointments. Dr. Chen and Erica at the front desk were always friendly and chatted with us about what we had been up to since the last visit. My other son and I waited in a relaxing environment. On a few occasions I had events come up so that I had to reschedule our original appointments and they were so flexible and friendly about finding a new appointment time that worked for our family.

“Amazing People!”

My whole life I have had teeth that created an imperfect smile. If you know me I still smiled a lot but held back as my teeth always jutted out. Dr. Chen and Erica were very easy to work with and always had an ear out for anything that was going on in your month to month treatments that they could help alleviate. Its been a quick journey over the course of a couple of years but I couldn't have had my perfect smile without them.

I really can't say enough good things about our experience with Dr. Chen and Erica at the front desk. We interviewed 5 different Ortho's in N. Seattle and when my 14 year old son Matthew came to this office he said "Dad, this is the one". You can feel the empathy and quality of Dr. Chen expertise when you walk in. Always great and friendly service, good schedule and great response to emergency situations. Done ahead of time and under our original budget, we love Dr. Chen!!!

“Amazing Experience”

Dr. Chen listens, takes time with you and has an excellent bedside manner. She explains things to you so that you always understand what she is doing and why. We had experiences at other orthodontists and it felt like you were in a production line at a factory, where they were trying to crank out as many patients in as little time as possible. On the contrary, Dr. Chen always takes time for you and never makes you feel like a number. I also experienced high pressure at another office to get started immediately. There were no high pressure techniques at Dr. Chen's office. Erica, her assistant, is friendly, efficient and amazing at running the office. You always feel confident that she has you covered. I couldn't recommend Dr. Chen and her staff more highly. We had an exceptional experience!

“Very friendly and caring for my son”

Dr. Chen has helped us out for the past 5 years or so dealing with braces and retainers to help Landon grow into his teeth. Dr. Chen and Erica are always there to answer questions and work with us to find the best solution for Landon's teeth. They remember him every time and are always happy to see him, even when he is not the most excited to be here. They are always kind and compassionate, even when they moved out of their office in Lynnwood to Lake City Way there was no question that we would continue to see them. I really appreciate their support.

“Dr. Chen made braces less scary & the end result was beautiful!”

Dr. Chen has great patience and skill. Her office is clean and bright and her team is amazingly responsive! I would greatly recommend Dr. Chen's ortho expertise. She suggested us work with a speech therapist for tongue thrust and it has helped greatly and my daughter's time in braces took less time than expected.

“There's just so much trust and reliability in Dr. Chen!”

Not only do Erica and Dr. Chen go out of their way to make this an easy experience - but they also even came to me to drop off retainers. I had some anxiety with everything but she was patient and really kind to me all the time. I am beyond impressed by how beautiful my smile (and confidence!) has become (: They really made this a quick, easy, and simple process. I'm sad to not be able to see them as often.

“We've had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Chen!”

My daughter is just finishing her 1.5-year braces treatment with Dr. Chen. The process has been smooth and so enjoyable (well, I wasn't the one who had to deal with the pain of moving teeth, but it was as pleasant as could be for my daughter!). I can't say enough about Dr. Chen's warm, welcoming demeanor. She always explained the treatment to me and my daughter very patiently and thoroughly. And Erica, the office manager, is absolutely wonderful, too. She made dealing with the insurance company a breeze (no small task!). We would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing orthodontia, and I'll be bringing my son here for his turn soon!

Dr. Chen has perfected the smiles of both my kids. My son just got his braces off and I feel a bit sad that I don't have any more teeth to bring to Dr. Chen for braces! She (and Erica at the front desk) are always such a joy to see. I'm thankful for Dr. Chen's calm, caring demeanor and her knowledge, which made two orthodontia journeys as enjoyable and painless (well, for me anyway!) as they could be.
