“Very nice experience”

I had to wait half hour to be seen, but it was worth the wait. I had extreme shoulder pain and had seen 1 other physician without relief. I have had pain for 6 months and nothing seemed to be helping, it was just getting worse. Dr. Timmerman diagnosed me with a frozen shoulder, she gave me a cortisone injection and I was better within 10 minutes. She explained that it would take time to regain my motion and helped me to get set up with a good therapist. I have a follow up appointment to see her if I am not improving, but I am so far very happy with my results.
I would highly recommend her.

“Highly experienced doctor”

After complications from 2 Patella Tendon surgeries, I went to Dr Timmerman and she fixed it without any other issues. She saw me quickly, expedited my MRI and scheduled my surgery within several days. The surgery and post operative recovery went smooth. Almost 3 months later, she just told me to go play golf, hike and ride my bike again! Dr Timmerman is a five star doctor!

“Saved my arm! Tennis here I come!”

Dr Laura listened to my concerns, diagnosed my issues and provided immediate solutions. I had been seen by another orthopedist for a year, who not only did not provide relief for my arm, but had horrible bedside manner.
Dr Laura performed surgery on my elbow, which has healed beautifully. She was available at any time after surgery for my calls and answered any questions I continue to have. She also provided excellent recommendations for other doctors I needed. Love Dr. Timmerman and Highly recommend her!

“Good as New”

Dr. Timmerman is an excellent surgeon. She knew immediately that I had an ACL tear even before we had the MRI to confirm. Surgery went as planned and there were no complications. She is well-practiced in repairing this injury, performing several ACL surgeries a week. Her bedside manner is quick and to the point, not super empathetic but she knows her stuff. The anesthesiologist was excellent and explained everything to me in regards to the medications during surgery. The staff at Dr. Timmerman's office have been wonderful and are always very warm. Appointments usually start on time and are short. A year later I can sometimes forget that I had an injury at all and I am very grateful to have been put back together again.

“Dr Timmerman put my elbow back together!”

I had two separate issues with my elbow. A muscle that was torn loose and a nerve impingement. Dr Timmerman had to perform surgery just above two different nerves, so the care of incision so that it did not scar excessively and further aggravate the nerves was crucial. She did a great job with both and I am pain free and gaining strength every day. I highly recommend her!!! I drove an hour to see her and it was worth it.

“Couldn't be happier with the results and overall experience”

Went in for a suspected torn rotator cuff. After x-rays and an MRI, surgery was promptly scheduled, with the option of non-surgical treatment given first. The surgery went smoothly - Dr Timmerman did an excellent job and her staff followed up the next day to make sure there were no complications.

“Dr. Timmerman is a miracle maker!”

I had previously seen two other doctors over a period of 6 months to try to alleviate my knee pain. I was within a month of having surgery with the first Dr and decided to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd Dr. treated me with a steroid shot and sent me home. I was in severe pain and used a cane. A friend recommended Dr. Timmerman. In my first appt. I got my first shot of Orthovisc and literally skipped out! Dr. Timmerman is fabulous and a miracle maker! Thank you!!

“absolutely fantastic”

I was told that i needed a shoulder replacement in my home town. One of our friends in Redding recommended Dr. Timmerman in Walnut Creek so we made and appt. She told me she could put it back together and she did. It has been 3 1/2 months since the operation and I am doing GREAT! My full range of motion is back and I look forward to doing normal things again.

“Expert in Frozen Shoulder Diagnosis and Treatement”

I went to see Dr. Timmerman after seeing another orthopedist to get a proper diagnosis of my shoulder condition. Dr. Timmerman did a thorough exam and immediately identified my shoulder problem as frozen shoulder. She was able to give me a cortisone injection in the right place by using an ultrasound at the appointment. In just a few days my mobility improved and I started physical therapy after 10 days of the injection. I am back to my normal activities and pain free thanks to Dr. Timmerman.

“The best Surgeon in her field”

I was misdiagnosed by a previous doctor, and decided to see Dr. Timmerman for a second opinion. She reviewed my MRI and immediately knew what to do. This was a fairly new procedure, but her confidence and experience made all the difference. I am now healed and working out again.
Dr. Timmerman has also helped my son with his elbow when he was misdiagosed. So fortunate to have a surgeon with this caliber. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

“Repaired my bicep tendon and rotator cup. I was back to normal after 3.5 months”

This is the second surgery I have had with Dr Timmerman.
She did my surgery within 2 weeks and my recovery time was great.
I can go skiing and play golf again. Yeah!!

“I had a torn ACL from volleyball in March and she had me back in mid-september.”

Dr. Timmerman was wonderful at helping me and allowing me to get back to volleyball as soon as possible with still getting me to feeling 95%. When I tore my ACL in Feburary I was in surgery by my spring break in March to play in September for high school volleyball. It has been a year later and I am cleared to no longer play with my brace. I am stronger then ever and cannot thank her enough for every thing.

“Shoulder repair”

“Excellent Experience”

Dr Timmerman was "the second opinion" I had received for a shoulder problem. I'm sooo thankful that I had a friend that had suggested I speak with her also. The difference between the two was night & day. I can't tell you how much more comfortable I was with Dr Timmerman and her staff after the after the first meeting.

Now a few months after the surgery my shoulder has healed extremely with absolutely no complications. My range of movement is already about 90% of what it should be already.

“A fabulous experience”

After being told by another Dr. that I would have to live with the pain in my shoulder I was referred to Dr. Timmerman. Our initial conversation with Dr. Timmerman was amazing. She validated that I was in tremendous pain and confirmed that the injury could indeed be repaired. My hope was to be pain free and be able to golf again. Six months later, full range of motion, golfing with a full swing and sleeping on my left side for the first time in 2 years. She and her staff are simply amazing.

“Dr. is very knowledgeable, skilled and patient focused.”

We were referred to Dr. Timmerman as being an expert in her field of orthopedics after our son dislocated his elbow for the fifth time. She quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem and set a plan to correct the issue. Her skill at surgery allowed for a quick recovery along with her specific instruction post-surgery regarding rehabilitation. “Thanks again and again”

I came to see Dr.Timmerman after i injured my right knee while sailing about a year ago, today i feel great! I had torn my meniscus and was in bad shape. I remembered the fantastic job she did on my left knee around 2005 (acl,pcl and meniscus damage!) and she was the first one i called.
Today im back at work and after she worked on my knee i feel better than before.

“The Right Doctor”

6 Months ago I had the unfortunate experience to rupture my Achilles tendon. Dr. Timmerman diagnosed shortly after the injury and I had surgery the following day. I was prepared for a very long recovery including crutches, walking boot and knee scooter. The technique Dr. Timmerman used made for a recover far quicker than what I expected. My physical therapist was surprised at the speed of both my recovery and mobility. I couldn't be more pleased with my outcome.

My experience with Dr. Timmerman has been positive from the beginning. Dr Timmerman is honest and matter of fact about options, pros and cons, outcomes and factors that may come into play. I appreciate her willingness to answer any and all questions. Her office made navigating the workers comp system significantly easier. “Exception Results”

My shoulder was injured from wrestling in high school. It was to my throwing arm, which is a problem since baseball is my main sport. Local doctor treated the pain with cortisone shots that failed to work. College coach referred Dr. Timmerman. She quickly identified the cartilage was sheared off the bone. After surgery to reattach it felt a little tight, but that went away. Now it has been two years and the outcome is 100% perfect. Baseball, weightlifting, everything is GREAT!!

I have had the pleasure of not one but two Rotator Cuff surgeries From Dr Timmerman. She is a highly skilled and experienced Expert in her field! She was dead on about how to fix years of pain and left tiny little scars that look like a scratch.

“Awesome surgeon! Dr. Timmerman has repaired my PCL and my left shoulder!”

Dr. Timmerman worked on athletes at UC Berkeley when I was a student athletic trainer back in the late 90's. I saw the work she did on athletes there and when it was time for me to have an orthopedic repair, I knew who to look for right away. I have felt well cared for by Dr. Timmerman and her office staff every step of the way through both of my surgical experiences. Dr. Timmerman and her team understand insurance, workers compensation and great medicine. As a professional firefighter I rely on my physical mobility and strength for everything I do. “Excellent treatment.”

I came to Dr. Timmerman for the Regenokine treatment. I have some early arthritis and have had cortisone and lubricant injections, but nothing seem to help. I am still quite active and wanted to stay active hiking and doing other sports. I found Regenokine information online and then found out she is the only one in Northern California doing the treatments. I made an appointment and had some test done before I went. I then had the visit with her and she explained everything about the treatment. They drew some blood and started the treatments a couple of days later. I noticed improvement after the first couple of injections. It was a little sore after each injection but that was it, no down time. I have now completed the treatment and back hiking. My knee feels the best it has in years. I don't know how long it will last but was told 2-4 years. Anyway for me it was worth it. I had to pay cash, but for me it was definitely worth it.

“There's nowhere else I'd consider going”

Dr. Timmerman performed a meniscus tear surgery for me in 2012 and the results were outstanding. When I injured my knee again this year, I immediately reached out to her office for diagnosis and treatment. The team worked to fit me into their busy schedule in order to accommodate some upcoming travel plans I had. Everything from the precision and quality of medical procedures and care the the professional, people-first culture in the office, it's clear that not only is Dr. Timmerman's team the best at what they do, but they seem to keep getting better. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I am so pleased with the work she did for me I almost wish I had other body repairs needed.

“Overall great experience”

I had a shoulder issue from when I was a baby, I had several diagnosis regarding the injury all of which were incorrect. I came to Dr. Timmerman based on her reviews. She had me do the proper test to get a diagnosis of the injury and completed a procedure.I have since gained almost full mobility back and have been building up my strength again. She was great throughout the entire process and I would def. recommend her.

“Fantastic treatment!!”

I've seen Dr Timmerman and Gaye (PA) for multiple injuries( rotator cuff, ACL reconstruction) over the last few years. The treatment including two surgeries were were performed flawlessly. I'm now stronger than ever! Dr. Timmerman and the entire staff are wonderful, from the receptionists to the nurses, the entire staff make you feel at home from the first visit. “Painful Ulnar Nerve!”

After being treated else where and being misdiagnosed, I found Dr. Timmerman. She was highly recommended, and I must say she totally exceeded my expectations. She was a great advocate for me, performed my surgery, with great follow-up. She is lovely, great bedside manners, she listens, takes her time, and KNOWS her stuff! Dr. Timmerman and her staff are all incredible. I wouldn't think twice about coming to see her in the future if needed.

Dr. Laura Timmerman is a great orthopedic surgeon who fixed my full ACL tear with great results. From the minute you step into her office and meet her, Dr. Timmerman makes you feel like you are an old friend and will take the best care of you as if you are her family member. “No surgery and pain free!”

I came to Dr. Timmerman with serious knee pain and swelling. I had a hard time walking my dogs on flat surfaces without pain. After going to see two other doctors, I came to Dr. Timmerman. I couldn't be happier with the results I've had without surgery or cortisone injections which were suggested by others. Such a great experience to be able to talk about ALL options including ones not commonly known by other doctors. I can't imagine where I'd be had I not found Dr. Timmerman.

“Walked in hurting, walked out pain-free!”

“Dr. Timmerman is the Best”

I completely tore my left rotator cuff in the beginning of January and saw Dr. Timmerman about 4 weeks later. Once she saw my MRI she immediately told me she could get me back to 100%. I scheduled surgery for the second week in February and I felt better within the first 4 days. I was completely off the meds after the first week and within 3 weeks I had 80% better mobility than I had in weeks. I was back to 100% within 5 months. Dr. T is the absolute best.

“A doctor that listens”

I'd been to another ortho who told me it was just arthritis. Dr. T saw the issue on the same MRI, showed me exactly where it hurt and assured me she could make me feel better. Now, 10 weeks after surgery, I have no more pain and I'm almost at full strength. I couldn't be happier.

“Highly recommended surgeon for knee injuries.”

I initially started seeing Dr Timmerman after 2 years and 2 previous surgeries from another surgeon for ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Tear Repair. I still had difficulties with limited range of motion involving both flexion and extension and considerable amount of pain. I didn't think that there was much that could be done at this point, given the extent of the scar tissue that had already set in and the subsequent damage that seemed irreversible. I was left to believe that this may be the new norm for me.
After careful review, Dr Timmerman took my case. She proposed a 3rd surgery where she explained to me that the scar tissue can be re-addressed and the Meniscus can still be repaired.
It has been five months since this 3rd surgery, and I can say I wish that I had gone to Dr Timmerman sooner. Although I still am not where I used to be before my accident, her expertise has made a difference. From diagnosis to pre and post op, she and her staff are appreciated and highly recommended.

“They where amazing, and the reason i recovered so quickly.”

Dr. Timmerman did my Achilles surgery, and I believe the reason I'm recovering so quickly.

They got me in quickly for my consult and to surgery knowing the pain and give me the best recovery.

Surgery went, and recovering faster then anyone I know who has had this injury. I was recommended to them by two people that had the same surgey. I would recommend her to anyone with Achilles injury!

The staff is the best I have ever encountered in over half a century of dealing with health care providers.
