The bottom line for me is that from the moment I met Dr. Y, he was thorough, confident, matter of fact. He explained in detail what was wrong with my hip, told me how he would fix it, and what to expect. The entire staff has been responsive and professional, Scheduling, surgery, and recovery have all gone without a hitch. All instructions were detailed, easy to understand. On the day of surgery, Dr. Y stopped by, told me what he was going to do (again), and told me I'd be out of the center by 10:00 that morning, walking. And I was. I've had only one other surgery prior to this, an ACL repair which went very well. As good as that experience was, and taking into account that it was a different surgery from the hip replacement I just received, I am still amazed at the difference, and what Dr. Y accomplished.
