I was referred to Dr. Togias by my current dentist and was very nervous. That idea was an afterthought as soon as I stepped into the office. Everything is immaculate and clean! Dr. Togias is very personable and inviting and I felt so at ease. He knew things about what was going on with my teeth that I literally just realized and that my previous dentist said wasn't there. Dr. Togias is very thorough and explains everything; he doesn't like to rush and I think that is very important with any kind of doctor. On top of that, the office staff is super amazing! Everyone is so helpful and friendly and they really work with you to make you feel comfortable.
I highly recommend Dr. Togias and staff/office to anyone who is terrified of orthodontists but is looking for a great one (or if you just want a great ortho in general). You won't be disappointed. I think I've found "the one" and will probably never leave NY.

Dr. Togias is a wonderful orthodontist. He is extremely personable and intelligent. I used to see Dr Nicolay (who I also love!) several years ago, but due to scheduling conflicts, I started seeing Dr. Togias. They are both wonderful orthodontists. I had a relatively complicated case several years ago involving jaw surgery, and they worked seamlessly with my surgeon to give me a perfect smile. I now have Invisilign and am happy with the results so far. As someone who works in the medical field, I have nothing but good feedback. The rest of the staff is also great about answering questions and scheduling.

I love this orthodontist and everyone in the office! The office itself is well run, clean and beautiful, the staff is professional and friendly, and the location is super convenient (next to the 59th and lex station). They have fun activities and raffles for kids, too, and they are very enthusiastic to get the kids and adults participating. My son is consistently seen on time and the doctor always explains to him and me what is happening and what we can expect. Dr Togias is gentle and my son always goes willingly and without fear, which I think is key! I recommend Dr Togias to all my friends. I just asked my son and he said: he's kind and good at his job!

A sea change in comparison with our previous orthodontist. Our experience with Dr Nicolay has been excellent. He has taken the time to explain my daughter's problem in detail and then the pros and cons of the solution he was recommending. In particular he is excellent at simply framing the issues to a child and addressing her concerns and anxiety. The ability to speak in French is a clear plus.
