As a PMHNP, I firmly believe that the best treatment method to understand and care for my patients is through a comprehensive and individualized evaluation process. By delving into their medical history, social history, and current mental status, I am able to gain a deeper understanding of their unique needs, preferences, and circumstances. This allows me to create an individualized treatment plan tailored specifically to each patient, ensuring that they receive the care and support that is most beneficial to them. In addition to medication management, I always consider integrating therapy sessions for a more holistic approach to treatment.
