“Comfortable and Professional”

I had a great experience at this dentist office. The environment in the office and with all the staff feels very comfortable and very professional. I learned that flossing & regular dentist appointments are SO IMPORTANT if you want to avoid having multiple cavities like I did. Now I floss every day and actually look forward to my 6-month cleanings so I can proudly show Dr. Malafis how my flossing has paid off. This is a great dentist office, with great staff. Thanks to all!

Dr Malafis makes the experience of getting dental work done easy and surprisingly painless. I avoid going to the dentist as much as possible, and I wanted to try a new dentist as I wasn't satisfied with my previous dentist. Dr. Malafis made me feel comfortable and, went through the process explaining in detail what he was going. One of the best.

“Dr. Malafis takes care of his patients and has offered nothing less than superb services.”

Dr. Malafis made me feel welcome and at home for all of my visits within a year due to multiple procedures I had to go through. He is sensitive to how I'm feeling throughout the visit and the other employees at Master Dental show nothing less than great care for all patients as well. I always had negative experiences and associated going to the dentist as being a chore until I made it here, where the staff and Dr. Malafis spend time make sure I am taken care of and comfortable.

Found Dr Amlafis online (and right around the corner from my house!). So glad! Quick, gentle, thorough service. He gave me a cleaning and found that I had an issue with an infection under my crown. He fixed the problem (root canal wasn't the most awesome experience, but not as bad as I imagine it could've been elsewhere), and replaced my crown. The new crown is so much better! Thanks so much!

Doctor Malafis has excellent fine motor skills. His cleanings are always fast, efficient, and he never tears up my gums. The staff is friendly and courteous and I'm often seen right on time. Master Dental has been my dental office for about 5 years and I plan to stick with them as long as I can.

“First Time Visit”

Today was my first visit to Dr. Malafis' office. He offered a suggestion for me that I was initially hesitant to, but I trusted him. He noticed later that I had a cavity that I wouldn't have known if I hadn't taken the Xrays. He talked me through it and all together, I got the complete solution for my dental health today, through taking care of the cavity and getting the cleaning I came for. He also didn't judge me when I admitted that I don't floss as often as I should, as well as discussed that my gums do bleed and I need to address them more. I appreciated not being looked down on for this. Great experience, I'll be back for sure.

“Best Dentist I ever had!”

Dr. Malafis and his staff are amazing! They are very attentive, professional and kind. I never had such a great experience, I convinced my entire family to go see him and they all love him as well. His location is easy to get to and very clean and sanitary. He is very gentle when it comes to doing a cleaning and his assistants is awesome, they always answer all my questions and they make it a great and painless experience. Highly Recommended!!!

I'm not very fond of visiting the dentist in general, but Dr. Malafis has been very patient and diligent in helping my case (I have had quite a lot of fillings to do from the beginning). He's been available when I need it and the convenience of his office on Ditmars is extremely helpful. I will continue to come back for any further issues.

I have been coming here for a few years and no longer fear the dentist! Dr Malafis is kind, gentle, and great at his job. Whenever there is an issue with a tooth, whether it be a cavity or a root canal, I have come here and left pain free! The entire staff is caring and enjoyable to be around. “Smooth and quick process”

I came in for my cleaning and had a great experience considering I've been to other dentists in the area. Dr. Malafis is calm and informative and made me feel comfortable during my appointment. Reception was also very helpful and kind! This is the best spot in Astoria!
