Momentum Lactation was founded in 2017 with the goal of providing greater access to breastfeeding support in the Edwardsville and St. Louis Metro Area. Alisa worked in the community in a hospital setting for many years and realized that many Mothers needed more support and information after they leave the hospital to be successful on their breastfeeding journey. With decades of experience supporting and educating new mothers through various modalities, and an expert in clinical lactation, she founded Momentum Lactation to include needed access and support missing in the hospital and community.
Alisa works with physicians and other providers in the community and has built a strong referral network for a variety of breastfeeding issues.
