Over the past 5 years I have been seeing Dr. Chan. Coming from a family of dentists I had doubts that I would receive the care I had been accustomed to by my father and twin brother. Not only did Dr. Chan meet my "high" standards but she and her team have continued to provide me the care that I now see as the gold standard. Dr. Chan provides me the time and guidance to ensure my dental health remains healthy. I have had crowns, and many other unique circumstances that has required Dr. Chan to refer me to specialists. The network that she has is incredible and I never doubt whom she tells me to see for my needs. Dr. Chan also understands each patient and their specials needs. Mine being it takes long for the initial anesthetic to take affect, but knowing this Dr. Chan and her team always schedule me accordingly to make sure I am fully comfortable PRIOR to doing any work. I absolutely love going to Dr. Chan. I have used her even when she wasn't fully covered in my dental network because I liked her that much. I first went to her after I got a diagnosis from another dentist that I needed to have major work for cavities after not going to a dentist for a long time, but the other dentist didn't tell me everything or why I needed to have it done. Dr. Chan, on the other hand, spend so much time with me reviewing films, showing me what was happening, explaining with charts and diagrams and discussing options (who knew you had options?). She immediately got my trust by leaving the decision up to me rather than forcing procedures.

I've now been with her maybe 3 or 4 years and have to say I can't imagine going anywhere else. Every time I have an issue, she clearly shows it and explains what my options are. The work she does is great every time. The office staff is great at reminding me when to come in and scheduling around my weird work schedule--although they're a bit more analog by using phones and scheduling books instead of digital tools :).

Finally, the hygienists in this office are the best. Super thorough and I always feel extremely clean afterwards!

I have been coming to this dentist office for 7 years now. Even though I relocated during the years and my commute became 45 minutes, I still prefer the service that I receive at this office over the other ones. They take the time to build personal relationships with customers which makes the experience pleasurable. They (technicians and doctors) are very knowledgeable and provide with you with tips, recommendations and resources that will help you keep your "pearly whites" for a lifetime. The prices are reasonable and they have flexible payment options if you don't have insurance. I am positive you will be pleased with your experience at this office, but don't take my word for it....pay them a visit.

We picked Dr Chan's office via zocdoc based on 3 criteria: acceptance of our insurance; accessability via public transit; positive reviews. It was an excellent choice for our family (2 adults and a child first seen at 4 years old, now 7 years old). Dr Chan and her staff are friendly and knowledgable and all treatment we've received has been top-notch. I started seeing her with significant damage to my teeth and she referred me to exemplary specialists-- a peridontist and a surgeon-- and worked out a schedule with me to fix the damage that didn't require them. I've been seeing her regularly for a few years now and she's gone a long way toward assuaging a lot of my decades-long anxiety about dental care. I'm very pleased with our choice of dentist. One note: they do not have digital x-rays but still use film. This is the only thing I'm less than pleased with. However, given the level of care we receive I have no interest in switching to another dentist over this issue.
