I was diagnosed with a severe to critical spinal stenosis in my lumber spine at multiple levels. This condition deprived me of doing my normal activities since 2007 - I could not stand and walk freely even for a 5-10 minutes. In late 2017, I made a decision go for surgery at NJ Spine and Orthopedic. Dr. Katzman and his colleagues performed surgery. Dr Katzman performed L3-L4-L5-S1 spinal laminectomy, facetectomy and my results are very satisfactory. AFter about six weeks, I feel better and he assured me it will keep getting better.
The only problem I have had was post-operative care and follow up. I wish the practice was more cognizant about calling patients after the surgery to follow-up and returning calls. This is even more important when a patient had a post-surgical complications with anesthesia.
