I came in about 9 months ago with the worst tooth infection of my life, and in so much pain that I was scared and almost delirious. Dr. K put me at ease and had me numb and and cleaned out in what felt like no time. I was out of pain quickly and during subsequent visits, he was meticulous with the cleaning process as well as checking in with me during the procedure. I've since been able to forget about that tooth, no subsequent issues issues with it. I highly recommend his work.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Kaplan to evaluate a painful tooth that he was unable to determine whether it needed a root canal. I was leaving for a family trip to Europe in 3 days and needed to see Dr. Kaplan immediately as the pain was excruciating. Dr. Kaplan saw me the same day and literally stayed till after 8:00 p.m. to evaluate me. He did not jump to any conclusions and instead performed several tests, including x-rays and a oral MRI, to ensure that i did, in fact, need a root canal. To say that he was thorough is an understatement. The next day I returned and underwent the root canal. Dr. Kaplan correctly diagnosed a damaged nerve. The root canal was successful and I was fine to travel the next day to Europe. To my surprise, Dr. Kaplan, called me while i was in Europe to check on me, a very nice and personal touch.

Since then, i have recommended Dr. Kaplan to family members and friends.

I trust and recommend Dr. Kapln without any reservations.

It was a fairly complicated procedure but it went beautifully. The least pain during and after procedures and we had a fine time listening to great guitar music! Dr Kaplan is the consummate professional. If you need this kind of dental work, I would give him two thumbs up!

It would be safe to say, I am biased, Dr. Steven Kaplan, is the endodontist I have turned to, for 2 years in a row, for 2 extremely complicated root canals, that almost no endodontist wanted to tackle.
When one hears the words Root Canal, usually there is fear involved but
Not with Dr. Kaplan, the root canal is completly pain free, he also makes you feel very secure that everything will be ok, should I mention, he is one of the most caring Endodontists, and Professionals, I have ever encountered, and also insists on putting on the patients favorite music of their choice, and if music is not their thing, he just makes the patient laugh, with his amazing sense of humor.
My root canal was complete in 2 visits, and instead of being overjoyed, I am feeling sad, since he makes all his patients feel as if they are family.In todays world of dental and medical professionals where everyone is rushed, Dr. K is the exact opposite, and takes all the time in the world with all his patients.

“Had a bad root canal - needed emergency service”

Dr. Kaplan really helped me when I was in a pinch. My insurance was passing me around to doctor after doctor and none were willing to help. During these few days, my face was getting significantly worse. I had a very infected root that needed to be extracted and my face was swelling up to what felt like twice it's normal size. We found Dr. Kaplan through a google search and he was willing to take me same day for an evening appointment. His team was great and he did the extraction without any pain. I was very thankful to have found him. Now just checking to make sure nothing happens from the previously infected area!

My experience with Dr Kaplan was outstanding. I came in as a walk in needing attention on a tooth that was bothering me and he fit me in that day and started the root canal process. He followed up with me twice after and made sure the situation was resolved. I always felt comfortable and taken care of at his office. I recommend him whole-heartedly. i went to Dr. Kaplan for a severe toothache in my molar tooth. I thought it might need a root canal. Doctor Kaplan was very careful in diagnosing my problem and saved me a lot of money$$$$$ and time by figuring out it was only a minor gum problem. He gently cleaned around my gums and pulled out /@#$%%. My gums were bleeding a lot because they were so inflamed, but he cured my dental problem without doing a root canal. A lot of people say that if you go to a root canal specialist you end up getting a root canal, not true!!! Doctor Kaplan is very honest and I highly recommend him

“One of the Best deal I ever made in my long life”

I had a problem with 2 old root canals. It was a very tricky situation,because there were crowns on the teeth and each one had a 4th root that wasn't treated. You could not see this on a regular x ray so thats why it was so difficult to detect. Since Dr. Kaplan can take 3 D xrays, he was able to detect the extra root that most offices would not find even with digital xrays. The Dr. and his environment are not only soothing and comfortable, but he truly did a great job where other dentists were in awe.

This is my second root canal with Dr. Kaplan in five years.He is the most professional endodontist who has performed root canal and all i can say it was a painless experience based on many people telling me beforehand how sore this was going to be. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have root canal with no fuss or later problems. Furthermore he is a very nice and understanding person. Although it is a little pricey it is worth every penny

In my office visits he never seemed pressed for time and did a very thorough job. I left with no pain whatsoever! He also made sure to call me the next day to check on me and see if there was anything he could help with. Whatever nerves I had coming in to have this root canal were eased immediately. He is beyond patient and kind and ensures that you are as relaxed as you can be. Not a rush job, but one that is complete and executed beautifully. I would recommend him to everyone. One day prior to leaving to go out of town for a month-long retreat, I woke up with the right side of my face extremely swollen. I was shocked, in great pain and very concerned that this was going to prevent me from attending my program. My usual dentist was unavailable to see me, but he referred me to Dr Kaplan, because he sees emergency patients on Sundays. I called Dr Kaplan's office and was relieved to hear that he could see me in a couple of hours.
It turns out that I had an abscess. Dr Kaplan took care of it with amazing grace, care and kindness and, because of him and his wonderful staff, I was not only able to make it to my seminar, but I felt triumphant and so very grateful that I was lead to his office. I recommend him VERY highly!!

It was a Sunday morning and I was in extreme pain, I couldn't even chew, my dentist referred me to Dr. Kaplan and even though he was trying to go home and I didn't even get a hold of him until 11am, he saw me by 1130 and took care of all my pain that afternoon. Gave me a root canal that was virtually painless if you can believe it and then followed up with me personally that evening to see how my pain was . Follow up care was perfect as well, highly recommend!
