“Excellent management of osteopathic problems”

Dr. Kumar provided skilled and effective treatment for my several painful bone conditions, including followup post surgery, effective joint disease procedures, and effective but not excessive pain management with medication. Now, I am much improved, have regained my mobility, and need minimal to no pain medications. At 70, I can easily say that I am as good as I was at 60.

“Dr. Kumar is one of the best doctors in the area”

My story is long, but I can say that before I met Dr. Kumar my life was very difficult dealing with pain and a Spinal Cord Stimulator implant gone bad. Dr. Kumar removed the Spinal Cord Stimulator and a year later implanted a much successful Spinal Cord Stimulator. Today, I enjoy a much better quality of life and it is all thanks to him. Dr. Kumar knows his patients and care for each and everyone of us. I have had a great experience with Dr. Kumar and his staff and recommend him if you are suffering from chronic pain and other ailments related to pain for which you have not found a solution. I love this doctor and honestly say, I thank God for finding him because he has really helped me. Thank you.

“Most Caring Kind Doctor”

I've been seeing Dr Kumar for 5 years and I never meant such a great doctor. He takes his time with you, does injections I've never heard of before and tries he best to make your life as pain free as possible. He's an amazing doctor and I tell everyone I know with any types of pains to call him. He's kind and extremely understanding. Once you meet him you will never look for another pain doctor nor will you want to.

“Blessed to have found a solution”

I had a serious car accident in 1985. Over the years I have suffered with severe back pain, which has resulted in other residual pain in my body. Dr, Kumar is not merely a dispenser of pain medication. He is very sensitive to the needs of his patients. It"s hard sometimes to find people who can sympathize with and truly understand someone suffering from chronic pain. Dr. Kumar is aware of all the new alternatives being used in pain management and offers alternatives to the standard opiods. I am glad he is here in my area. I am blessed that he is my doctor.

I came to Dr. Kumar in Sept. 2018 barely able to walk crippled with knee pain in both knees. I was taking pain medications daily in order to function. Here I am 2 years later 98% pain free, I take only an anti-inflammitory and have gel injections to manage my chronic pain. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kumar, he listens to your concerns and allows you input on your care plan.

“Finally a pain management doctor that listens.”

I came to Dr.Kumar after going to Staten Island pain mgt for many years. Dr. Kumar sat with me and listened as I expressed all my health issues and experiences with other physicians. Dr. Kumar actually cares about me and all his patients. He takes to time to listen, gets to know you and will do whatever he needs to do to make you as comfortable and pain free (or at least to control the pain). I am so pleased that he is't a "pill pusher" and only wants to keep you on pills. He listens, cares and works with you to come to a happy satisfied balance.
I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Kumar to anyone looking for a pain management doctor.
Also, I have to mention Dr. Kumars staff.....There are not enough words to explain how wonderful they all are. I have been coming to the office for many years and I have never had one complaint against anyone in his office. Polite, knowledgable, caring are just a few words to describe the entire office staff.

“Seeking better help for my pain...”

I've been living with the pain from RSD & fibromyalgia for 15+yrs & have seen 3 pain mgmt doctors before coming to Dr Kumar. I felt that I was out of options...then I learned about the spinal cord stimulator & tried it. Now I'm living a better quality life with alot less pain & medication thanks to Dr Kumar. “I am so very thankful to be able to get some relief for pain. I have active ulcers and”

I am thankful that Dr Kumar was able to help me. I have duodenal ulcers, and fatty liver and cannot take any over the counter medications. Dr Kumar reviewed my complete history and was able to prescribe the stimulater for my spine and due to intense burning because of my cervical stenosis and crushed discs make it possible to get the medical marajuana. I am looking forward to my next visit and follow up.

“A Whole new life since surgery!”

I have suffered from severe chronic low back pain fro 25 years. I tried everything medication therapy, injections I was at my wits end until I met Dr. Kumar. He recommended the spinal stimulator. We did the test ans I didnt want the test to end.. It was the first time in years I had been pain free.
I had my spinal stimulater implated in April 2019 and the differance has been so incredible..
Instead of spending 3/4s of day in bed laying on my side I was now able to be up and about three quarters of day.. I now babysit my 10 month old grandson three days a week
Two weeks ago I went to North Carolina and learned how to kayak! something I have wanted to do ror 35 years..
I am planning travel for next year all because I am now able to because of Dr. Kumar and my spinal implant.
