“Life changing doctors!”

I initially came to NJRI for severe chronic migraines that were intractable and only responded to an opiate medication. I have been coming here for 4 years now, and my migraines have been taken from 15+ a month to 3-6 a month, averaging 3. I had zero quality of life prior to coming here, and I was stuck in bed almost every single day with a horrible migraine that was barely responding to treatment. I began seeing Dr. Ageson after I tore my rotator cuff. The care was A+, and my shoulder healed in the exact timeframe he told me. Dr. Ageson has been patient, listened to my concerns, and has given me excellent care throughout this situation. I highly recommend NJRI to anyone needing help with chronic pan or a sports injury.

I came to Dr.Ageson about 14 years ago with back problems in every disc from cervical to lumbar.This was exascerbated by a20 yr. old case of severe fibromyalgia. I hurt everywhere. With patience we were able to find the best and most minimal combination of medications to reduce stress and pain in my life.

“Brilliant, kind, caring, helpful”

I have been seeing Dr Bowen on a regular basis for years. i travel 2+hrs for office visits. Dr Bowen listens intently, is extremely kind and he is constantly thinking outside the box for ways to help me battle my chronic back pain. He does not fall back on "cookie-cutter" medical care, but treats the individual based on the specific, unique need. i trust him completely with my care. i have had multiple procedures done in the office and the staff is so friendly and accomodating. I would recommend Dr Bowen and this office to anyone suffering from chronic pain!

My experience has been excellent. I chose to try Lipogems instead of shoulder replacement and 5 weeks later I know I made the right decision. My pain is much reduced and I no longer would consider the replacement procedure. Doctor Bowen was great in explaining the benefits and outcomes. I would recommend seeing him before resorting to a difficult surgical procedure.

Bowen is an excellent doctor. He is very professional and quickly puts you at ease. He will gladly answer your questions and make sure that you understand the problem as well as the treatment. “Long term patient - trauma injury”

I started seeing Dr. Agesen for nerve damage and pain management while I was recovering from a severe car accident, with a traumatic injury to my right leg, among a few other things... His compassion and attentiveness was what first impressed me by him, and after 6 years, that has not lessened at all. I have permanent nerve damage, and he worked with me to achieve the right combination of treatment, so that I have been able to achieve all of my physical goals (within reason of my injuries). I highly recommend him and this group. The staff has made me feel like family, and they always work hard on my behalf for insurance issues, etc. Very professionally run, and I have never dealt with a rude or incompetent staff member.

I was referred to Dr. Agesen by my crossfit coach who came to visit him and "worked wonders". I have been dealing with various shoulder issues for years and have never been able to get a clear answer to where my pain has stemmed from. Dr. Agesen has taken time to advise me on proper steps in my recovery and has not tried to push the more pricey procedures. “A compassionate and accurate diagnostic Osteopath and Integrative Physician”

I have been actively seeing Dr. Bowen for 3 years. He is the first practitioner I see for any orthopedic condition, primarily because he is a thorough diagnostician and is quite accurate in his diagnosis and has no bias towards surgery. He simply gives you his best opinion of your options and guides you to outcomes that fit your desire and lifestyle. In addition, he also specializes in whole body anti-inflammatory treatments as they combine chronic health conditions with orthopedic outcomes. He continues his education and is constantly developing treatments such as Ozone, UBI, PRP and Stem cell therapy to address intrajoint inflammation. His approach combines thought, solid technique and innovation. I am thankful he is my go to doc!

“Prolozone injection is a miracle.”

I had excruciating pain for 3 weeks in my left leg before I visited with Dr. Bowen. It was difficult to ascend or descend steps, bend my leg, even walk or put any weight whatsoever on my left leg. That is when I could not take the pain any longer and had to do something. I had the prolozone injection in my knee and it worked like a miracle, I immediately felt relief and my leg continued to improve daily. The injection only felt like a pinch and no surgery needed! It's a miracle. Dr. Bowen is accurate and it was a pleasure to have been treated by him.
