Recently , i torn my bicep while moving and lifting. i quickly realized that something was off however, no one would believe me. After doing a bit of research, i was able to locate Dr. Patel's Office and booked an appointment. The staff members are very professional and they were able to get me an appointment as soon as possible. On the day of the appointment, they were able to confirm the injury and scheduled me for surgery with Dr. Patel within the following week. They even offered a pick up service to and from the facilty. On the day of the surgery, Dr. patel went over things again with me and explained everything in details. Everything went as planned and today im getting my cast removed for a brace and ill be doing therapy at his office to ensure a safe recovery. Doctors like Dr patel are one in a million who practice compassion and caring for his patients. He is very easy to communicate with and i hightly recommend his services. Thank you again!

I trusted him from the start, as did my wife, who accompanied me on one of my follow-up, pre-surgery visits. He's thorough, clear, kind, and upbeat - even with all the stress of facing an operation, he always calmed me down. The second time I needed surgery, for an issue that couldn't be handled the first time, and that Dr. Patel tried to prevent from happening through non-operative treatments, felt like an absolute breeze. I had carpal tunnel in my left hand so bad my thumb was constantly numb. The pain would keep me awake at night. Dr Patel performed surgery on my wrist and now my pain is gone, I have feeling in my thumb, the OT therapist was very impressed how the surgery site healed. Everyone in Dr Patel's office was helpful, kind and approachable. If I couldn't talk to the doctor I texted with him and that was also really convenient. Very happy with my results

Ladies and Gentlemen, this review is only for Phay Huy Huynh, PA-C for NY Hand Surgery Brooklyn & Queens Offices, not for Dr. Vipul Patel, MD. On Tuesday May 3, 2022, I had an appointment with Phay Huy Huynh, the PA-C of NY Hand Surgery of Brooklyn and Queens Offices, in regarding another finger problem that I currently have since April 17, 2012. Phay suggests that I have another MRI in regarding my left index finger situation.

I had a great experience at Dr. Patel's office. I was actually getting a second opinion after a previous surgeon would not recommend surgery for my fracture. Dr. Patel scheduled me for surgery immediately. The team here works cohesively together to give me the best care. They listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. They complete paperwork in a timely manner. Everyone is super polite and welcoming. I never have to wait in the waiting room for a long time before I am seen. It is also very convenient that the therapy office is right on the 2nd floor.

I feel so lucky to have had a doctor like Dr. Patel. Even though I had a lot of trauma to my elbow, I never doubted my recovery because I trusted Dr. Patel completely. He was attentive, always listened and answered my questions, and supported me every step of the way. Beyond that the whole team at his practice and the attached OT practice are wonderful. I had a mid-shaft spiral fracture of my humerus, with nerve damage to my hand & wrist. I was very scared after one doctor told me I would need surgery but after seeing Dr. Patel he immedaitely put me at ease, explaining surgery was not the way to go and with some healing and time I would be back to normal. He was very knowledgable & comforting being very mindful of the pain I was in & checked in regularly. He put me in a great cast about 3 weeks in which made the whole 16 week process much more bare-able. My nerves did come back and my arm fully healed without surgery! I am so happy I got a second opion & came to Dr. Patel. While I hope I never have to come back, I will definately come back if ever I need to.

Dr. Patel has helped me before, doing two surgeries on each hand and fixing my shoulder, but I honestly thought that no one could help my painful knees. Today, I am pain-free. When I bend my knees and walk down any stairs I no longer have to walk slowly. I am in awe of my flexibility. Dr. Patel gave me the correct prescriptions and they worked. I will always use him. He's a talented doctor.

i got hurt at work August 20th 2020 and i came to doctor Vipul Patel M.D., and it was the best decision i made during a difficult time in my life. I broke my left small finger and also lost my nail from an accident at work. i I had lost motion in my left hand and because of the care from doctor Patel and his staff i am 100% recovered. I am forever grateful to the doctor for making my visits and care an A+ experience, and i recommend him and his practice to anyone that has a severe hand injury. God Bless him because this is my last visit and i am well.

This was a fourth revision of a CMC joint athroplasty--prior surgeries done by another surgeon. Results are 100% reversal. Dr Patel has been very encouraging over several years. From diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis by a rheumatologist, through several years of IL-6 treatment of that, to making the decision to do this surgery. I am very thankful for his encouragement, his medical assessment, and his skill as a surgeon.

This was the most satisfactory experience with a doctor I've ever had. I came in with a 2 year old wrist injury from a scooter accident. It was quite painful, and impeded my ability to go about daily activities (no more yoga, no lifting weights, etc.) I was afraid I would need surgery, but Dr. Patel was very diligent and patient about doing the least invasive treatments, and only considering surgery as a last resort. Long story short, on the day I eventually came in to receive an injection, Dr. Patel took an ultrasound and decided he would aspirate (remove inflamed fluid from a cyst). With great care and precision, he did just that. It was over in minutes. Afterwards, he said "You should feel better in a couple of days". Boy was he right. A few days later I am experiencing NO PAIN for the first time in 2 years. I can now do push-ups, down-dog in yoga, lift weights, etc. NO PAIN! Dr. Patel is a genius and a ninja at what he does. The staff are so kind and friendly, everyone from the reception staff to the PA and Dr Patel himself. I was told I needed surgery and was a little nervous about it but they took their time to explain everything, booked me in for the following week and the surgery went so smoothly. I can't recommend this place enough. Great sense of humor too :) Clean facility and all round fantastic service

This could not have gone better. Dr. Patel correctly diagnosed that I had severed my tendon and preformed surgery to repair it. He met with me periodically throughout the rehab process and gave me a shot which significantly reduced the swelling. He was patient, kind, and thoughtful.
