I had been told that I snored loudly and disturbed other people. So, I asked for help from Dr. Lauck. She and her staff assisted me in getting an accurate diagnosis of what was occurring. I learned that I had sleep apnea! How frightening! They fitted me with an appliance to wear which did away with the apnea and stopped the snoring. Now, I no longer fear disturbing others with my snoring, my quality of life has improved (more energy), and the apnea has been mostly eliminated! Wonderful!

“I never thought it could be me...”

I never thought I needed to be tested and treated for sleep apnea. As a dental assistant I understand the importance of having a sleep study done and wearing a sleep appliance for therapy of obstructive sleep apnea. I just never thought that I would need it at my age.
After being tested and finding out that I indeed had sleep apnea, I had impressions taken and a sleep appliance was fabricated just for me. I began to wear my sleep appliance in 2011 and have been wearing one ever since.
