“Not Good”
I delivered a baby over 9 pounds and did not receive an episiotomy. I tore all the way to my butt muscles. I seen Dr. Caywood at my 6 week check up. She wrote in my medical record that I had a 1st degree tear and healed wide open but did not recommend repairing. Thank God I had a second opinion because I needed surgery. My transverse perinea muscles of the perinea body were separated and needed to be reattached. She does not have a clue about child birth and the damage that can happen.
