I have had several epidurals over the past 50 years. This one was a bit different, because I had a really bad headache which was unusual and frightening to me. Dr Stayner administers just the correct amount of anesthesia to take off the edge and I don’t have any after effects from it.

Dr. Schultz is right on point, quick with the follow up plan, and follows through. If changes need to be made, he explains them clearly and sets the new plan in motion. I have been a his patient for five years and had numerous injections with him. I received a spinal cord stimulator implant device two years ago and it has revolutionized my life. It relieved me from dependence on methadone and vicodin, freed me from my wheelchair and enabled to walk. drive, and sleep. A life maxim says if it's too good to be true it probably is. My experience thus far with the SCS implant seems to run counter to that counsel. A decade of immobilizing pain has been reduced to mild discomfort. I is difficult to describe the difference this has made to my outlook on life. I know that things can change or happen, but I will gladly take the reprieve that comes with the SCS implant as I deal with those sorts of outcomes.

I've had a chemical nerve agent in the Army, I was paralyzed from a training accident from the waiste down at my 19th year. When I fully retired at 20 with a back surgery I had some pain in Texas. And having a horse kick you in the middle of the back from not giving him food and taking it straight to his stall. Which I should have put him away first. It was moving up here and letting the VA oust me to Fairview hospital and from there no one but Dr Schultz took the time and line road with me and still am. There was one time when he sold this place and I was looking to leave, but I'm glad I hesitated. So, I'm almost free of pain and having a lot of pain that I started with at the beginning I'm doing really good.
