“Very personable”

My son was stressed by the teeth cleaning that was done by the dental hygenist. He is young and didnt fully understand what was going to happen and so when she went to rinse his teeth it was cold and startled him. My only complaint about Dr Chen is that I wish she would have given me a bit more time to calm him back down to try again. She felt that once he was crying that was it there was no trying again. I feel that if she had taken the time to allow me to do my job as mother, then we could have finished the visit. However she was very calm and patient with my son. She talked to him like he was a real person as opposed to a child who knows nothing. I really appreciated her bedside manner and how she took the time to explain things to both of us instead of just talking over him to me.

“best baby dental experience ever”

I have 3 kids but this was the first time having a baby appointment with Dr. Chen. Part of it could be the child but I was amazed that there was no crying and she soothingly sang songs to the baby while she checked the teeth and overall was a wonderful experience.

I am a mom of 3 and am also a foster mom, I have brought all my kiddo's the Apple Pediatric in Ferndale and Rosemary Chen has been amazing with all of them, even with some of my little ones who get a little nervous at the Dentist. I had been referred to Dr. Chen for a procedure my childrens previous dentist didn't do. After working in dental offices, and having my children seen by other dentists I have chosen to bring them back to Dr, Chen. She puts them at ease, I never feel like she is rushing them out of the chair or their care is lacking. the crown on my child has lasted 5+years This office is great. from the friendly helpful staff to the outstanding dentistry.

Dr. Chen is very soft spoken so it is difficult to hear her at times. The place is inviting and I was really happy to get a cup of coffee. The only thing I wish would improve is the seating in the lobby. The benches are uncomfortable when sitting here for 2 hours. Other than that, I am very pleased with APD.

I have three kids with very different personalities. This was my kids first time seeing Dr Cao. He was great with each of them. He worked with each one patiently and kindly, keeping an eye on their reactions and catering to their needs as needed. The appointments went smoothly and quickly. He also made sure to include me in each appointment so that I understood what he saw and how it was to be treated. Thank you so much. We look forward to our next appointment!

“Caring, patient, and positive dentist!”

He put my little girl at ease within minutes. Everything was carefully explained to both myself and my daughter. For the first time there were NO tears - she even smiled at one point. Will be coming back from now on - best dental experience ever!

My daughter was so nervous, but after a couple seconds of being here she was so relaxed and was super excited to be here. Doctor came in and he was amazing he joked and made my daughter feel so comfortable. I am a little jealous I can't come here.
