My life has drastically improved since Dr. Polack removed my cataracts. Having had Radial Keratotomy in 1981 which flattened my cornea to correct vision, I was concerned that this would complicate the cataract surgery. I am elated to say that he got much better results that I could have ever expected. I do not need glasses at all now! .I no longer reach for my glasses on the nightstand when I awake in the morning. This makes me smile!!!

I had PRK and Lasik performed on my eyes with Dr. Polack. He took excellent care of me.. We had an unexpected issue with my cornea, and I was taken care of from start to finish. NI was always informed of the plan of care, and he always put me at ease. He will sit down and explain and discuss all concerns and even the latest research which will lead you to an informed decision. He was available more than most doctors. PRK and Lasik can be a scary experience at first, but the office takes amazing care to decrease your anxiety during the procedures. Honestly it wasn't as scary as my mind imagined it to be. I will never for forget the kind staff, and the Nurse who held my hand during the procedure. They even have a relaxation room prior to the procedure. Thank you Dr. Polack and all the wonderful nurses at the eye surgery center.

I had the basic surgery that Medicare covers. It greatly improved my distance vision. i am able to drive without glasses, but I still need glasses for reading. Ocala Eye was extremely organized and efficient with regard to appointment scheduling, testing and follow up during multiple office visits prior to and following cataract surgery. Dr Polack and staff helped me determine the proper lens to replace my defective lenses based on their tests and evaluation. Dr Polack performed the surgery very quickly with no pain or discomfort, whatsoever. I have complete confidence in Dr Polack and Ocala Eye and would encourage anyone with vision problems to make an appointment and request Dr Peter Polack, if surgery is required. Two weeks have passed since surgery was completed - I have 20 -20 vision with colors and clarity I have NOT had for the past 50 years. I recently drove over 2,500 miles on a trip - (35 hours driving time) - mostly in heavy rain night and day. I did not use corrective lenses, although I wore non-prescription sun glasses during sunny periods. I could not have attempted this trip without the great work of Dr Polack and Ocala Eye.

I have researched Ophthalmologist after moving to Ocala. Upon getting myself situated after the move I started researching a few Ophthalmologist around the area. I was not sure of the ones that I went to and did not feel comfortable. However, I had cataract in right eye that was deteriorating rather quickly and got to the point where I could only see shadows and light. Then from my research and talking to someone that is a patient of his I came across Dr. Polack. He is one of the best!

Dr. Pollack is the best doctor I have seen in 75 years, he listens to your concerns and takes time to explain what you need and why. He is very calm and reassuring and makes you feel relaxed . I only wish more doctors had the his work ethic and caring for his patients . Linda Stockbridge

I think I explained that in my last comment. Sorry. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Polack. I would recommend him to any one who needs an eye doctor. My husband has started with Ocala Eye now.
