“Torn Rotator Cuff”

I tore the rotator cuffs on both shoulders. After surgery and recovery, I have full motion and no pain at all. My shoulders work better than most people I know that haven't had any damage. As a martial arts instructor, I need my arms and joints to work well. Dr Scott is an amazing surgeon and she gets results. So glad I came here.

“Amazing”

I had surgery on both shoulders, she was so kind and caring. My experience at their office was wonderful, the staff is so considerate, and helpful. After my last surgery in 2013 on my left shoulder, Dr. Scott was going to Republic for a school activity for one of her children. Because she is so caring she called me after the game that night, just to make sure I was doing ok, and it was after 8:00 pm on a Friday. Now that's AMAZING.

The care I received from Dr. David Scott was "exceptional" from my first visit to post-op (during my first year). His caring manner, description to detail in describing my surgery, and my post-op visit were "first-rate." I doubt that I could have gotten this quality medical care anywhere else. He put me at ease from the first visit and thoroughly answered all my questions.

In addition, his staff is friendly, professional, and made me feel "welcomed," instead of just being another patient.

“Walking without pain less than a year after two new hips”

I was in terrible hip pain because of arthritis in both hips. Dr. Scott replaced the left in the first part of 2017, working with Pleasant View Clinic in Post Falls, ID. I went home the same day as the surgery, walking into my house on my own power. The recovery went very well and quickly I was recovered enough to know that I wanted my left hip done as soon as possible. I had the left hip done in November. The surgery was performed at the same location with the same excellent results.

“I couldn't have found a better surgeon.”

Dr. Scott was chosen, by the VA hospital, to perform my hip replacements. The other doctors I had seen, through the VA system, were less than perfect, so I didn't have my hopes up. I found Dr. Scott to be pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He spent time answering all of my questions and concerns. I went into surgery feeling very confident with him and his team. I couldn't have found a better surgeon.

“Rocky at first, but very happy with the outcome.”

I thought i should stay in the hospital more than 52 hours, but went home, walked up stairs and took total care of myself, living alone. Doctor Scott knew best.

“First Class, All the way”

Dr Scott provided my right knee total knee replacement. I had heard a lot about the pain and long recuperative times associated with this procedure. My experience was entirely different. I took some pain pills one the day after the surgery and never had to take any more for the entire time. I found my recuperative time was much shorter than I had heard also. I am very impressed with Dr Scott's medical practice and I would gladly come back again.

The staff, as well as Dr. Scott, are professional,polite, respectful,friendly, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I have had 3 knee surgeries over the past 40 years (the knee replacement was number 4). Without question OSC is exemplary in all aspects including but not limited to scheduling, phone etiquette, pre-op, post op, PT, consultation and evaluation. I highly recommend Dr. Scott and OSC and have already referred one patient who was led to believe surgery was next to impossible. Dr. Scott is able to help her and hopefully surgery will soon happen and then complete recovery because of the more than capable staff and outstanding care from Dr. Scott.

I have visited at least 6 different ortho offices in the Spokane area due to long standing issues from a car accident years ago. This is by far the best office I have visited. The staff is wonderful, efficient, knowledgeable and best of take the time to explain and/or answer questions.
The PA spent over an hour answering my questions regarding knee replacement and when the decision was made to proceed the doctor came in and spent another 30 minutes explaining and answering question just making sure that I was aware of everything regarding my care.
Before leaving the office (and prior to actually scheduling the surgery) I was given a small folder with tons of information. Prehab exercises, things to make the healing better etc..
All in all a terrific experience!

Dr Replaced my left knee 19 years ago. His pre operation details were better than the other two Orthepeadiactric doctors that I got opinions from. True to his word my leg is the same length as my other one. His office follow up and care were very professional and friendly. I play golf about 3 times a week and work out every week as well. I am very active with yard work and fly fishing. So not sedentary life style. My follow up today shows my knee in great shape, no wear or tare in the plastic disc and the implants still fixed in place as originally placed. I totally recommend Dr David Scott and his practice. Dr Scott listened intently to my initial complaints and did some treatment with medication injections. When this didn’t take care of the entire problem he ordered a diagnostic injection which showed a non emergency hip replacement was in order. I totally understood his explanation. I chose to have the hip replacement several months later. The procedure and after care was excellent. I am very pleased with the experience I had with this provider.
