I am a Patient of Dr.Bassett for two injuries. My right labrum had torn and bone and cartilage was floating around. She performed surgery on my arm and it could not have gone any smoother. The second time was on my left labrum. It is torn from what the MRI showed and Dr.Bassett advised me on her recommendation. Overall I would recommend her for anything she is very competent.

After having had 3 previous cortisone shots on my shoulder and being never instructed that I could have my shoulder pain removed permanently, I got to have a visit with doctor Basset that took her time to explain to me what my options were. Nowadays, I'm pain free and able to break free from 6 advil gels or antiinflamatories that were a constant every day. Her sports knowledge enhanced my understanding on achilles. She checked up my achilles frequently and make sure that I rehab often. She entrusted my physical therapists to help me my rehab journey and it did became successful. She wants my rehabilitation process to be slow because of her experiences with pro athletes' achilles rush rehab caused more problems and she does not want me to end up more problems. Also she recommended one shoe orthotic to improve my footwear even it has nothing to do with her. She cares my health over money. This what doctors should be. It been 10 months since surgery and now I feel better now and don't feel a pain. I can run and jump better with no pain.

Bicep Repair

Nothing but the best from Dr. Bassett. Surgery and recovery went better than expected after not knowing anything about the injury. Dr. Bassett was very helpful with every aspect of the surgery and recovery. The recovery went smoothly with no pain at all. Strength has returned faster than expected as well. I have and would recommend Dr Bassett to all family and friends who have ailments that need to be fixed.

The procedure I had done was to repair a tear in the long head of the biceps. The diagnosis was done very quickly and accurately using the results of an mri to determine the urgency of surgery. The mri reveal the tendon was barely hanging on by a threat to its natural attachment location and there was not fear of losing the tendon and complicating surgery. The operation went very smoothly as well as the recovery. Personally I thought that the recovery would take a lot longer. The SLAP tear was also cleaned up and feels better than prior to surgery when sleeping.

While doing landscaping I heard a pop and watched my bicep curl up, believing I tore my bicep I called Dr. Ashley Bassett’s office to see if I was able to get into. After explaining what happened they were able to squeeze me in. Dr. Bassett immediately knew I tore my bicep and was able to get me for a MRI immediately that day. After reviewing the MRI, it was determined that I need left elbow distal bicep tendon repair. Dr. Bassett made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She constantly explained the next steps and told me what my expectations should be. After the surgery and throughout the follow up appts she was on time and attentive. She kept in constant contact with physical therapist throughout my treatments.

Hopefully I never have to do surgery again but if I do I will definitely utilize Dr. Bassett.

From patient care to technical performance, there is no one else like Dr. Bassett. Before she repaired the torn labrum in my shoulder, I was unable to press any weight above my head, swim, run comfortably, or even do simple things around the house like lifting a gallon of milk out of the fridge. But after my surgery was completed by Dr. Bassett and after going to all physical therapy sessions, I am now able to do everything and anything I want or need to do. It's truly as if I reset my shoulder to a time before it was injured. My mobility and strength have been fully restored. Dr. Bassett is one of the best doctors I have ever met. Dr. Bassett and Anna have provided impeccable care over the last 11 months in repairing a complete ACL tear after being kicked by a horse. After initially having my injury somewhat misdiagnosed, I came to Dr. Zaino for a second opinion. I do not regret that decision one bit. He listened to me carefully as I explained the situation with my hand/finger. Something that struck me was that he actually listened when I mentioned the research I had done on my own to see what kind of injury it was. I originally went to doctor Zaino because he had excellent reviews from patients, and he did not disappoint. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, and once there he quickly and effectively diagnosed my broken metacarpal, even correcting a mistake made by an urgent care I originally went to (I should have just gone directly to Dr Zaino). He even had something I'd never heard of to immobilize my hand (called the knuckle) that was much more comfortable than a cast or plaster/ace bandage, and I was able to remove it when I showered.

The office staff was extremely friendly and always made me feel welcomed, the location is easy to get to, and the out of pocket cost was very reasonable even with the cheapest Aetna insurance.

I don't like having to go to any doctor, but Dr. Zaino and his staff made it as pleasant as it could possibly be.
