Outer Banks Health General Surgery is located in Nags Head in the Medical Office Building adjacent to the hospital. Our board-certified surgeons are able to provide both emergent and elective surgeries for children and adults in the state-of-the-art operating suite at The Outer Banks Hospital.
These highly skilled individuals are experienced with a broad range of diseases and conditions that may require surgical treatment. They will often use minimally invasive techniques when appropriate to help you heal faster. Our surgeons also participate in monthly cancer care conferences that include radiology, pathology and medical oncology to provide a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
Patients are seen by appointment only. Please bring your insurance card, photo identification and all medications (including over the counter, vitamins and supplements) to your appointment. All co-pays and outstanding balances are due at the time of service. Other payments to satisfy deductibles or co-insurance may apply
All requests for healthcare information or copies of healthcare records require a written authorization (Release Of Information Consent Form) completed by you or your legal agent/representative. Due to the confidential nature of personal health information, records cannot be faxed. Requested health information can be obtained through MyChart, emailed via a secure server, sent via the United States Postal Service to the address as indicated by you on your consent form or picked up at Outer Banks General Surgery. When picking up records, a form of identification (photo ID preferred) must be presented before the records are released to ensure you (or your legal agent) is the only person(s) obtaining your records.
