“The Best Out There”

I have used Dr Owens for over 17 years and recommend him to everyone I can find. He removed a benign tumor from my ear drum and hearing bones and replaced those tiny bones with titanium hearing bones which are super tiny. It restored my hearing! He is amazing from surgery to something simple as chronic ear infections.

“After living with debilitating vertigo caused by my Meneire's Diseasse for over a decade, I have my life back.e”

I had been treating vertigo attacks with medication which worked for a while, but when my vertigo attacks ratcheded up to 3-4 a week, I knew I had to do something to regain my quality of life. Dr. Owens staff got me in two days after I called and I was having shunt surgery 4 days later. I appreciated his decisivness, I was in an episode during my first visit with him, and he wasted no time in getting me in his surgery schedule.

Dr. Owens is wonderful. He has patiently listened to all my questions, and has thoroughly explained my options going forward. . His staff is outstanding as well. I could not have hoped for a better experience, and I really feel as though I have my life back. No more planning my days around when I may have another debilitating attack.

If you are someone suffering from Meniere's Disease call Dr. Robert Owens. Just like he told me during my first appointment, "You don't have to live like this".

“Overall, a great experience besides the joy of gaining my hearing”

I got my 1st Cochlear years ago for my left ear. The experience of being able to hear in my left ear was exciting & well worth being cared for by Dr. Owens. He knows what he's doing. So much so, that I wanted only him to take care of my right ear right away. However, it was a little bit later & the same experience that I had with him from examination, through surgery, through actually getting the gift of hearing for my right ear was terrific. I would trust no one else for my Cochlears than Dr. Owens. A little about Dr. Owens: he's a bear of a man with the kindest heart & an understanding of what you're going through. He works with me to get the best optimal service from my Cochlear which I am forever thankful for! Many thanks Dr. Owens!

“Ménière's disease”

I have been dealing with Ménière's disease for five years. The daily uncertainty of not knowing when it might attack me was unnerving and at times debilitating. I have seen a number of ENT doctors and none of them knew what to do to help me. On the first visit to Dr. Owens, he diagnosed the situation and offered to perform a relatively simple operation. After the operation, I have not had any dizziness and the other symptoms have been gradually decreasing. If you have Ménière's, go see him.

“Dr. Owens is an amazing surgeon an ear specialist.”

We were referred to Dr. Owens after my son already had one failed ear surgery. When we went to see Dr. Owens my son had a hole in his ear that was about 30% of his ear drum. Dr Owens explained to us what surgery we needed and the success rate of the surgery. Surgery went as expected and his ear drum is intact!!! Thank goodness for Dr. Owens. He has repaired my sons ear back to normal. Great doctor and staff!

“Life changing results after only three visits!!”

My son came in for an emergency visit due to hearing loss. What we were told for a years by other professionals was the tube was doing it's job as cause for my son's ear drainage. However, Dr. Owens found that the hearing loss was a result of the tube creating a skin growth over his ear drum that was infected. This was our first visit! A total three visit later my son is a different child - happy, without pain or discomfort. I am so happy with our experience! Staff provided consistent communication and has made this experience organized and fast. Thank you to Dr. Owens and his wonderful Staff!!

“cochlear implant success”

I have had hearing loss nearly all my life. I have seen many doctors that have said I was not capable to get a cochlear implant. After 20 years, and many hearing aids later I was referred to come see Dr. Owens and his team and they changed my life. I was implanted 2 months ago and I'm making hearing strides! I am hearing noises that I have not heard in nearly 20 years. Now, I am looking forward to getting my second implant!

“Meinere disease”

I have suffered from Meinere Disease for over 20 years. Dr Owen's preformed a surgery on my left ear & put a shunt in my ear. Since that day I have felt amazing. I have not had any Meinere attacks since the day of surgery. I do not take any medications for Meineres. I am so thankful to Dr Owen's. He is amazing. “Dr. Owens cured my Meniere's Disease”

I was first diagnosed with Meniers Disease in 2008 by Doctor Fred Owens. In 2010 Dr Robert Owens performed a EMS on my left ear that gave me relief for 6 months. The Vertigo cme back but not as intense as before. With gentamacine enjecctions I was able to keep vertigo at bay until 2021 when Dr Roberts did another EMS. like the first one it lasted about 6 months before the vertigo returned. In 2022 Dr. Owen did a Labryenthectomy that cured my vertigo. Also in 2022 I was given a Cochlear Implant. Between the two surgeries in 2022 I have my life back with no vertigo and the ability to hear out of both ears agian. No more guessing where sound is coming from.

“Excellent care!”

Six years ago I had a stapedectomy on my left ear that Dr. Owen’s performed. I was very happy with the outcome as I had lost about 60% of my hearing. In October I suddenly lost my hearing in the same ear. Apparently scar tissue had disrupted the implant. Dr. Owen’s saw me promptly and I had revision surgery within two weeks of losing my hearing. Recovery was great and I can say now that the revision surgery was successful. Dr. Owen’s and his staff explained every step of the way.

“From Zero Quality of Life to a Full Life Again”

I was having severe, quality of life impacting, periods of vertigo secondary to Meniere's Disease. Dr. Owens managed my symptoms to a great degree with medication/allergy treatment until my disease progressed to rapid, intense flareups, culminating in an overnight stay in the hospital on a potassium drip. My quality of life was zero, with debilitating flareups every few days. Dr. Owens completed endolymphatic shunt placement in August of 2018. My quality of life is now awesome. I am able to live a full and productive life, with my symptoms well managed by medication, diet and minor lifestyle changes. My gratitude to Dr. Owens cannot be overstated. He is professional, kind and empathetic. His staff has been truly awesome as well. I have now successfully graduated to annual follow up visits.

“My surgery has changed my life for the better!”

I have been a patient of Dr Owens for 6 years. He has been very attenitive to my issues and has put a great deal of effort into solving them. “Dr Owens gave me my life back”

I am now 18 months out of my shunt surgery for Meniere's. Prior to surgery I was unable to even get out of bed by myself, but over the past 18 months I have hiked a 14,000 foor mountain, I have snow skied on blue & black runs, and I can still hear! Bottom line ... I can live the life that was mine before Meniere's nearly robbed me of everything I love. Dr. Owens knows what he is talking about. I only wish I had found him before I lost about 2 years of my life with the debilitating vertigo that Meneire's patients know much too well.

“Dr Owens really helped me with my hearing!”

I was in Canada and became ill. My sinuses were heavily congested and I did not realize that you could not purchase decongestants in Canada over the counter. The flight home was long and miserable due to pain in both ears. Upon arrival, both ears were plugged up. The right one cleared, the left one never did. After Dr. Owens diagnosis and surgery, I can hear out of my left ear and the ringing is significantly less.

I really appreciate his work and his expertise! Amazing and Appreciated!

“This doctor is AMAZING and I would suggest anyone with any ear problem go see him and no one else!!”

I came here after seeing my primary care doctor, three visits to an Urgent Care clinic, and a visit to an ENT. Nobody managed to figure out that I had a layer of wax pressed against my eardrum. I have been in pain for seven months with this. Dr. Owens figured it out, took care of it, made me laugh, and I am leaving here feeling better than I have in MONTHS. “I wish I'd met Dr.Owens a long time ago!”

I pretty much gave up on hearing years ago. I finally got tired of nodding and smiling when I could not understand my own dental patients. My family was tired of repeating every word. I couldn't listen to music. I was referred to Dr. Owens by a neighborhood ENT that didn't seem too enthusiatic about my condition. Dr. Owens repaired my "deafer" eardrum to restore some hearing before tackling the cholesteatoma in the other. Great results for both ears and hearing was restored much more quickly than I expected. “Lifechanging and lasting hearing improvement from Stapedetomy Revision Surgery”

Doctor Owens changed my life for the better 8 years ago with a Stapedectomy Revision surgery, which allowed me to recover my hearing after and earleir procedure by a different doctor degraded. I trusted Dr Owens Skill and advise completely! His care and that of his staff have been consistently excellent and helped me manage my Otosclorosis condition from my first appoinement. Dr Owens' skill and capability has changed my life, and allowed me to be fully participatory in the events of my family and career for almost a decade now! My daughter has been seeing Dr. Owens since she was a baby. It has been 18 years. When she was a baby she used to get cholesteatoma in her eardrum and the ear canal of her right ear. She has at least 3 surgeries to get them removed. We have had a great experience with the surgeries and the followup exams. She has been cured of these cholesteatomas, and her hearing is great now.

I went to several ENTs over the year and just got told my leaking ear with limited hearing was just going to be what it is was. I walked into Dr. Owens and in 5 minutes he not only had a plan but he explained to me what was going on in my ear and gave me a very thorough explination of expectations (good, bad, and ugly). The surgery went well, my pain was managed well, the office responds quickly, and when there was an after hours issues, Dr. Owens was on the phone with me at 9pm within 5 minutes. I now have a functional ear and my hearing is vastly improved. I can't say enough for Dr. Owens or his office. Although....I do miss laying down on my "good ear" (right side) with my "bad ear" (left side) up so that I can't hear my kids while I nap....oh well. I guess I'll have to learn to have two functional ears again. :)

I needed to find a new ENT for my husband.I was so lucky to reach Conor when I called. I was actually thrilled to get to speak with an individual and not play phone tag. He got him in the next day with PA. Everything went so smoothly . Liz was efficient and explained everything. “Trusted doctor for over 12 years”

When I was diagnosed with Menieres Disease, I saw three different doctors before going to Owens Ear Center. They explained every detail of this life-altering disease and educated me on how to get better. I originally saw Dr. Fred Owens, but after his passing, his son, Dr. Robert Owens has performed my surgery and helped me get my life back. I highly recommend Dr. Owens!

“Dr. Owens gave me my hearing back and is the best doctor I've ever had!”

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Owens and his staff. His office is by far the most efficient of any doctors offices I have ever been to and I have come several times for appointments with him and have never had to wait. The best part is that he gave me back my hearing and I am so happy. I loved Dr. Owens right from the start and find him very down-to-earth and caring.

After a few bad experiences with other doctors to figure out what was going on with my hearing, I was recommended Dr. Owens and we finally came up with a game plan for my hearing loss. I was diagnosed with Otosclerosis and went with the surgery treatment. Several months later and my hearing is well improved.

I highly recommend Dr. Owens and Owens Ear Center!

I love Dr Owens and all of his staff. He is the absolute best at what he does and extremely knowledgable. if you ever need a stapadectomy I HIGHLY recommend you use hin. You will not be disappointed. My hearing has been totally restored !!

“Doubled my hearing ability”

Came in with a cholesteatoma and needed a mastoidectomy. Dr Owens used a minimally invasive procedure (not all can be done this way) and reshaped some bone in my ear. The healing process went great and I was able to return to work within a week.

Prior to the surgery I would have to turn radio or music way up to hear and now I dont have to. The way he explained it was pre-surgery I would have to listen to the radio at a level 6 (out of 10) to where now post-surgery I only have to turn it to 3. For some one that works in a quiet office where people speak softly to not disturb others this is a tremendous help.

Dr Owens is very nice and very professional. He does seem to be in a rush a lot but that shouldnt be taken as a sign that he doesnt care or is too busy for you. He always answered everyone of my questions. His staff is super nice as well and always tried to help where necessary.

“Dr Owens is one of the best Drs that I Have”

I have been seeing Dr Owens for about 8 Years. He Diagnost my problems one of the first visits. He was very aggresive in getting my hearing problems resolved. He did several surgeries on me one of them being a cochlear implant.He has always been strait forward but very nice. I have nothing but good things to say about his office personal and the staff in the back. To sum it all up he is a great Dr. and surrounded by great people.I firmly believe if it was not for Dr Owens I would not be able to hear today! Thanks Dr Owens, Rick Hoover

“the best”

Dr. Owens is one of the best doctors, that I have had. I had severe hearing loss in my left ear. He gave me three different shots in my ear drum, three weeks in a row and it improved my hearing a great deal, having a hearing test 3 months later. I also have tinnitus and having had the shots, its now minimal. I thank Dr. Owens for all of the great help he has given me.

“Wonderful experience, Totally Trust Dr. Owens with my hearing”

After struggling with vertigo for a couple of years, it became worse after getting Covid-19. Dr. Owens and Loree McGee worked very hard to figure out what was going on with me. Learning I had Menieres disease and ways to help it, we decided to do the Shunt surgery. It has helped so much. I am 6 weeks post op. Healing great and actually some of my hearing has come back which is an added bonus, Dr. Owens has been awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable.. He has explained eveything so well and on a level I understood. I am very thankful for Owen's Ear Center and Dr. Owens.

“Exceptional insight and skill”

I came in with next to no hearing in my left ear. Five months later, my hearing in the left ear is back to normal. Dr. Owens work is exceptional and the results have allowed me to stop many adaptations I used to compensate for the lack of hearing in my left ear. He is knowledgeable and communicative; I was kept informed at every step of my journey from diagnosis to post-op. His willingness to spend time with you, explaining the procedure and helping you understand the benefits and limitations, is invaluable. I would absolutely come back to him for any hearing needs.

“If were not for Dr. Owens and his wonderful staff, I would not be walking and doing as well as as I am! I am so Heartfelt Appreciative!”

My experience with Dr. Owens is a very positive and overwhelming grateful one! After going to about 10 doctors who could not diagnose me. I was dizzy, nauseous and could not walk without my husband's assistance and feeling very discouraged. My husband and I walked into Dr. Owen's office and he took one look at me & knew immediately what was going on with me and immediately gave me the surgery I needed to be able to walk again without being nauseous and dizzy. Dr. Owens and his staff took real good care of me throughout the healing process! We Praise God for Dr. Owens and his Staff! May God Bless him and his staff! We ABSOLUTELY TRUST Dr. Owens and his care for me!

“From deaf in one ear to hearing again”

I had been deaf in my right ear for several years when I was referred to Dr. Owens. After a hearing test and a brief examination, he recommended middle ear surgery. It worked! Dr. Owens is pleasant, explains things in clear language and is diligent in following up. The procedure (at the Addison Methodist surgery center) went off without a hitch;well other than a little post-op dizziness.
