I have been coming to Dr. Shahid's for 5 years this month. I trust and have a tremendous amount of respect for his skills and overall approach to pain management. Pain management is a very difficult field of medicine: it requires a balance of empathy, communication skills, knowledge of the most current research, and a desire to work with a patient who is suffering and isn't always agreeable with looking at the big picture of pain management, Dr. Shahid has always achieved this balance in and extraordinarily professional and compassionate manner. He has improved my quality of life. He has been an invaluable advocate of my overall health and well being. I highly recommend him for anyone suffering from chronic pain.

I was a nervous about the Spinal Chord Stimulator procedure but after the pain relief I am going to have it put in permanently. Miss Lauren is absolutely sweet and I love her. I would recommend it to any one suffering with back problems.

My visit was on the scheduled time. I didn't have to wait at all. The front office staff were very pleasant/professional. Adam, my provider explained everything in detail and was thorough. The nurses/MA's were nice/performed in a professional manner. I would definitely recommend this practice.

“I think this experience was great”

For what it is, for me to get maintenance meds, I think this experience was great. If it has to be broken down into a video appt and then an appt to give sample, I would prefer 1 day where I could come to office and do both... I really like Margaret. She is sympathetic and understands exactly what pain I seem to be going through. I undergo constant pain, sometimes in one area more then another, but it is extremely debilitating, and without the medicine, I don't know how I'm would handle it. The medicine only takes the rough edge off of it. At one time I was on much stronger, but didn't care for being sleepy all day. Margaret has been helpful with this by supplementing my oral meds with compound creme and voltaren. There are other meds that worked but I he'd to be taken off of because of my kidneys, and my having to use blood thinners. I am a complex case and Margaret has been able to understand this.

“This visit was for a cervical epidural”

This visit was for a cervical epidural. Anytime Dr. Shahid performs an injection, it goes very smoothly. My headache and neck pain is still gone. His medical assistant/nurse is fabulous and efficient. She keeps everything so organized. The office staff is great too. They are very pleasant. All around, this whole office is wonderful.

I enjoy and trust Dr Shahid and his treatment plan he has for me. Some procedures may be painful at times but most of them are definitely worth it. I would recommend this practice with no hesitation and I have recommended the practice a few current and non current patients.
