“EXCELLENT, THOROUGH & CARES ABOUT PATIENT”
I WENT ON 2/23/13. It was 1 1/2 years ago Dr. Stolman performed surgery on a basal cell cancer that was on my neck just below the ear. She found another basal cell on the same side near the throat. She could have performed surgery on the new cancer; however she put her patient's life first. Since both were on the same side and not too far apart, she opted to send me to a Mohs Surgeon. Mohs is a procedure where they remove the cancer and test it in their lab. If it shows positive, they keep testing until it is all removed. Dr. Stolman has done 100's of these surgeries and could have done this one easily since she already did one on my neck. This shows Dr. Stolman has her patient's care as her No. 1 concern since she didn't want to take a chance there would be more. How many doctors would do this? No one else could be more thorough. My previous Dermatologist just ran people thru like cattle. He was so bad that he had to change the name of his company. I could never consider going to someone else.
