“Knee Surgery”

l love Dr. Liudahl. in November of 2014 he did a total knee replacement and had scheduled the tkr for the right knee end of December. However exactly 5 weeks from my first knee I fell in pt and broke my left femer in a spiral brake. I didnt want anyone but Dr. Liudahl. he performed that surgery and eventually he got my my right tkr done. He has done repair surgery on my right shoulder and Im in today for my 2nd shot on mt left shoulder. eventually i will need surgery on it and no one but dr l

“Very very good on my knee replacement surgery”

Very good, excellent. Surgery was good and therapy was excellent. After the surgery I was able to get in and out of the car much easier; did not have to lift my leg as I could bend my knee easier. I would very much recommend Dr Liudahl.

“My 1 year follow up on my total hip surgery”

Dr Liudahl was very knowledgeable for my hip problems and explained everything for pre-op and post op surgery. He and his staff were great in all of my visits. I enjoy coming in for my visits at Tristate Specialists. I will definitely return for any future needs.

“Rotator Cuff Repair”

Dr. Liudahl repaired a tear in my left shoulder 5 months ago. I am very pleased with the repair. I do not complete range of motion back yet, but I can do most things The pain in gone, although I do feel discomfort if I stretch too far. I continue to get more range of motion and strength back weekly. Dr. Liudahl explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. I always feel both he and staff care about me as a patient.

My surgical experience with Dr. Morris was very positive. I found him to be very knowledgable with breast cancer issues. My studies were done in a timely manner and I had surgery within a week I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Morris is very caring as well. I would definitely see him again for my surgical needs.

“A very thorough and great overall surgeon”

I had a labrum repair in my shoulder in Sept. 2018. I had seen a different ortho surgeon and did not like them at all. When I came to see Dr. Althaus I explained my concerns and he was attentive and listened to them and explained what he would like to do for a course of action and made sure that not just myself but my spouse was informed on everything. I would suggest anyone that had shoulder problems to definitely come and see him.

I live in MN and was visiting when I broke my ankle. Dr Althaus looked at my xray and said "you broke it good!" Being from out of town, I was very nervous but Dr Althaus and his staff but my fears at ease. Surgery was wonderful, out of the hospital that day!
If you ever need a foot/ankle doctor/surgeon, I highly recommend this clinic.

“I can't believe the amazing difference in my hip since the surgery”

Dr. Althaus was wonderful. He described the surgery and the potential complications especially with the prior issues with my hip. After surgery he and his team we fantastic to work with. They explained what to expect and what exercises to bring back the strength in my leg. I am amazed at how good my hip feels and how much more active I am.

“Dr. Kuwahara is Amazing!!!”

Dr. Kuwahara is someone who treats you like his family. He will treat you not based on your insurance, but based on your major concerns and the things that may bother you. He checks me from head to toe at every appointment and always addresses areas that are changing in my skin. I have a history of skin cancer that was first caught by him. My son and my brother both see doctor Kuwahara as their dermatologist. I highly recommend him to my family and to anyone who is looking for a dermatologist they can trust.

I was very impressed with Dr. Kuwahara and how he cares for his patients. He really takes the time to learn about your concerns and is very thorough with his skin checks, because of this I made sure all of my family members came to see him. During my father's appointment, he identified and removed a skin cancer that hadn't been diagnosed by previous physicians. I would definitely recommend him to others if you want to be treated like family.

“Wonderful Dermatology Group”

I am a new patient with Dr. Kuwahara and was referred by my primary doctor. Dr. Kuwahara and his nurses made me and my husband very comfortable throughout the visit. He explained and answered all my questions. He also takes the time to get to know the patient rather than just doing what he supposed to do. He will ask questions to get to know you and listens to your stories as well. The nurses are wonderful too, I am impressed with how they educate their patient's on how they should take care of their skin. I will definitely recommend Dr. Kuwahara to everyone. I will see him again for my future skin problems.

Dr. K helped me with my rash that other doctors could not figure out the reason for it. He listens and reviews all labs with me. He always makes my visit fun by telling different stories as well. “This is the second time I've had reconstructive ACL surgery”

Dr. Safarov was a very educated surgeon on the issues I was facing. He was able to tell me where the last doctor went wrong on my surgery, and took his time to correct previous mistakes made. “Hip Scope Labral Tear”

Dr Althaus was great in diagnosing and recommending treatment for my torn labrum in my hip. Started conservative, seeing if we could get results with PT. Listened to my goals for what activities I would ideally like to get back to and which I was willing to give up if necessary. When PT wasn't getting the results, he recommended surgery. He clearly explained what to expect and post-surgery went exactly as intended. Nearly six months out now and back to an active lifestyle. Have full confidence in Dr Althaus' diagnostics, recommendations, and surgical abilities.

“rototor cuff surgery”

So many of my friends who have had rotator surgery or knew someone who did told horror stories about pain through recovery and physical therapy. In my experience, I've had none of that. The pain was minimal and the physical therapy has been very stress-free and ahead of the game.
I would have to credit the skill of Dr. Althaus and his team for a very manageable procedure.

“5 Star and then some!!”

I had a total hip replacement and couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. From my pre-surgury appointment through the surgery, overnight in the hospital and after surgery follow-up, Dr. Althaus and the entire staff of Tri-State Specialists were wonderful and so professional. I can't say enough about the care I received from Dr Altaus and his staff. Very caring, knowledgeable, professional. Recovery time was minimal, pain was minimal. Excellent outcome!!! If you need a hip replacement or any other kind of ortho surgery, this is your place to go. Words can not describe how great the experience was for me.

Dr. Kuwahara is a very professional, caring, and easy person to talk to. He will talk to you like he is your family, and he will tell stories and listen to your stories as well. “HE IS MY HERO!”

I saw Dr. Kuwahara as a new patient for a rash few years ago. I always tell Dr. Kuwahara and his nurses that he is my hero! When I saw him for the first time a few years ago, i was there to see him for a rash, but since Dr. Kuwahara is very thorough and will not only spend time with you regarding your main skin issue, but will also make sure to spend time with you checking your skin from head to toe. During that visit he biopsied what he called a suspicious spot on my lower back that had not been noticed by anyone before. This spot on my lower back turned out to be a SKIN CANCER! I see him now regularly since i was so impressed with his care. I would highly recommend Dr. Kuwahara to my family and everyone else who is looking for a doctor who truly cares.

Dr Doarn did the same procedure on both hands, right in Sept & left in Dec to eliminate arthritis in my thumbs & reconstruct the damage that had occurred to my hands from the arthritis. I had been receiving Cortizone shots for approx 2 years & had constant pain & very little strength in my hands when I came to see him. I am now 3 months from my second surgery & am pain free & still rebuilding the strength in my hands. Dr Doarn was very patient, informative & professional during all appointments. I am truly appreciative for the help he provided, along with his staff.

I was having a problem with my hands feeling numb. I had carpal tunnel surgery completed on both wrists. The amazing part of results is that a persistant back pain went away as well as a 25 year old scar that had opened up, healed up.
